The Cottage at Cardinal Hill

There are 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms as well as a reading/office/relaxation space in this adorable Wine Country Cottage. The home offers a beautiful open concept kitchen with a comfortable living room and cozy leather chairs in the fireplace seating area. There is a dedicated dining area as well. Outside you can soak in the pasture view complete with grazing alpacas. Enjoy a BBQ on the back deck or bake s'mores in the cozy fire pit area.
If you wish to wander, take a stroll along the on site hiking trail or take a picnic to the bank of our tranquil pond.

The Cottage at Cardinal Hill is one of three homes available on this beautiful 50 acre property. Also available are The Nest at Cardinal Hill (sleeps 14) and Wine Country Retreat (sleeps 4).

We are within a mile of 3 wineries and located just minutes from 5 others. The property is 9 miles from Dahlonega, 10 minutes from charming Cleveland and 20 minutes from Helen and Sautée-Nacoochee. We sit at the base of the Chattahochee National Forest and all the beauty (and hiking) it has to offer.

Early Thanksgiving with family

The property is easy to find and looks just like the pictures inside. They did an excellent job with the decor and there are plenty of comfy leather chairs to relax in. I especially enjoyed the room set up as a reading room as I am not much of a tv watcher. The coffee bar was a nice and I enjoyed that each morning. Things to note: -This is a manufactured home so the ceilings in the bathrooms are lower. I'm 5'3 and I could touch the ceiling. -The AC/Heating unit is extremely loud. It is located between the master bedroom and the kitchen. -While located next to a winery and several others there was not a wine opener available. -No can opener -The hot and cold water is switched in the kitchen -The front porch is a great feature and I would have enjoyed sitting out there but all of the furniture is rusty. Cute place with room for improvement.

Stay at Cardinal Hill

Nice, comfortable, well appointed cottage on an Alpaca farm. Beautiful piece of property! We loved our stay and would definitely stay there again. Close to everything!
