DO NOT STAY HERE - MAKEUP ON A PIG

My girlfriend and I stayed here for almost 3 months while we were between houses. I can’t recommend this unit, ESPECIALLY for extended stays The AC doesn’t work well enough to keep you cool in a Dallas summer The heat cant keep the downstairs warm while the upstairs gets extremely hot. They suggest using the fireplace (to which they provide you 1 starter log) Before the heat kicked on, we had to leave the oven open and use a unit heater to sufficiently heat both floors while we worked Despite the many traps hidden around the unit, there are still cockroaches. Huge ones! Lots of power outages and unannounced electrical work. Seems owners more concerned with renovating other units for than the comfort of their current guests. There was a note that there may be construction work that could be noisy but it was non-stop for 3 months (with the workers often blasting music at full volume) There are leaks when it rains! When I reported the leaks to management, nobody came to fix them for weeks until a few minutes before I was leaving for the airport. I asked them to come back another time and they never did. I had to leave out a large bowl to catch water several times during my stay. Personal property was damaged by leaks I have many more complaints that won’t even fit in the 1500 character cap for this review: - Unresponsive host - Rowdy, drunk neighbors - Tiny bathrooms, door doesn’t shut for one - No exhaust fans = bathroom black mold (even with leaving door open)
