Communication with the host was great and she was super responsive. I brought up a few concerns during the stay and she took everything into consideration and said she would be making some adjustments, which I really appreciated. Overall, the apartment itself was very cute, clean and in a great, safe location that was super convenient. That said, there were a few things that made the stay a little frustrating and I just would have liked to be a bit more prepared. For starters, the listing says there are two queen beds, but it’s actually one queen bed and an air mattress. There also weren’t any washcloths, no blow dryer and there were no basic spices like salt and pepper, so bring your own if you plan to cook. I was there for 5 days, so I cooked. The upstairs neighbors were noisy and there were airplanes flying over that were pretty loud, so if you are a light sleeper definitely bring a fan or use a white noise app on your phone. Parking was probably the biggest issue. It’s not close to the apartment at all and you have to resubmit a guest parking pass every 24 hours which is kind of a pain. If you have any physical limitations, just be prepared for a bit of a walk. The pool is not in walking distance and located at the entrance of the complex. I don’t want to discourage anyone from booking because it really is a wonderful little apartment in a great spot, but just be aware of these things going into it so you can plan ahead and avoid surprises.
