We enjoyed the room, and the staff was competent and courteous. The indoor pool and workout room were well-maintained. Overall the hotel was very clean, speciaaly the shower and bathroom. We have to knock off points for the ridiculously narrow parking spaces, made worse by the fact that this particular hotel is a magnet for horrible parkers. We had to twist our bodies into painful shapes to get in and out of our vehicle, and we were fortunate to find no dings or scrapes from the cars parked next to us. Minor points off for configuring the breakfast buffet into a U shape, which seriously limited the number of people who could access any item at a given time.

Walking in the front door, the lobby, breakfast room and common areas were very nice. The room was spacious, and well decorated. However, I was there for three nights and not once did the AC work. The room, for me, at 73-76 degrees was way to hot and uncomfortable. I was never back to the room until midnight or later of I'd forget about the AC problem and the room would be very hot when I returned. Also, the hand soap in the shower was missing. I figure that was OK, the cleaning service would take care of it the next day then I see a message that they only come in every other day. OK, no problem, Friday it'll get replaced along with all new towels. No. They did come in on Friday and I had to leave Saturday morning at 6 am. So at 1 am, in a hot room, with no hand soap in the shower and all towels dirty I packed, selected the least wet towel from the floor so it would be dry in a few hours, and went to bed. Ordinarily I would've called for help, but at mid-night or later every night, and having been gone since 7ish every morning, that to me was too late to get help. I would give this property another visit, but I would be more critical right from the start if I found any room issues.

The bed was not that comfortable. The grout in the shower was moldy, and I saw some holes in the shower tile. The toilet bolt caps were dirty. In addition, the breakfast was not good. I am comparing this to my previous Hampton Inn stays.
