Did Not Meet Expectations

The apartment itself was clean, and the bedding was fresh. However, the bathroom rugs and shower curtains could definitely use replacing—the curtains had a strong mildew smell.My biggest concern was the overwhelming odor in the apartment. It smelled strongly of pesticide or some kind of chemical treatment. Even my clothes in my suitcase still reek from the experience. I’m not sure if it was coming from the vents, something under the bed, or if the place had recently been treated before our arrival, but it was unpleasant and hard to ignore.The listing photos made the apartment appear modern and stylish, but in reality, it felt dated and cheaply furnished, mostly with low-quality IKEA pieces.I booked this place thinking it was a new listing with just a few reviews, but it’s clear that wasn’t the case—it likely had poor reviews and was re-listed under a new profile.Unfortunately, I wouldn’t rebook or recommend it. I would have happily paid more to stay somewhere more comfortable and as advertised.

Excellent location

We had quite some difficulty locating the apartment because the address is not at all well marked. The kitchen was devoid of any basic food items. I would have expected a small amount of coffee, tea, paper towels, etc.. the apartment was spacious and had a beautiful view of a canal that was fun to watch from the windows.

Great pace for groups

This is a great place for groups to stay, especially with its close proximity to Deep Ellum. I must say, it definitely feels more like a dorm room than a three-bedroom apartment. The third bedroom is technically the living room. But the place is great! Secure and friendly staff. Good parking options for the number of people staying in the apartment. Communication from the host was fantastic and I'll book it again the next time me and my friends see a show in Dallas.
