Stunningly beautiful! With so-cozy vibes, you will find yourself just wanting to grab a good book and your favorite warm beverage as you sit in the light-filled sunroom with windows that go from floor to ceiling ... It's almost like being in a tree house as this 2nd floor residence has a view overlooking the beautifully landscaped yard and the street where you can see walkers walking, and friends talking as they exercise together or carry their favorite furry friend for a stroll.
Now, if you are looking for just the right place during your work assignment, or perhaps even the perfect place for your weekend getaway, just know that SoCozyToo is a chic, yet warm abode that will take you back in time to simpler and easier days that we all long for. You will have immediate feelings of nostalgia as you experience the character of this 1925 home away from home that's been seamlessly curated transcending yesterday's comfort with today's modern standards.
Not only will you enjoy inside, but you will also love outside being in the fully fenced back yard affording you the perfect place to feel serene so you can balance work with play. It's hard to find a back yard in this area of town given the urban density and high walkability scores. And given that the Oak Lawn neighborhood is a Dallas staple, it places convenience at the top of the list with everything, literally, everything within a half mile radius. Please feel free to check out the photos with captions underneath to really get an amazing feel of the space!
Private, gated entrances with one reserved parking space underneath a 3-car carport! Additionally, there is complimentary parking on the street if preferred. Guests are welcome to use any of the three outside sitting areas. In our world, we believe in Southern hospitality where we like for everyone to feel welcome, plus we like to share! We interact with guests as little or as much as they prefer to ensure their stay is tailored and bespoke to their preferences! We are available via phone and text so we can meet all of your needs, and even spoil you just a little : )
The Neighborhood ... OMG ... is so convenient with an urban vibe - but super serene with birds, rabbits, and squirrels. Walk to and enjoy Craddock Park only three blocks away, and enjoy uptown, downtown, and the infamous, nearby Katy Trail at Turtle Creek. With vintage charm and diverse architecture, bikes and exercising is easy and fun! Uber and/or Lyft are easy and ready on demand within two-three minutes. Also, bus stop just around the corner.
Speaking of buses (and rail), Dallas-Fort Worth also has an app called ‘GoPass’. This app is public transportation made easy in DFW. Purchase your bus and rail tickets right from your phone. And the Trip Planner feature gives you step by step directions with ETA for two-three unique travel options from place of origin to your destination. Buy your DART, The T, TRE and DCTA tickets through the GoPass app, available for Android phones and iPhones. The app is FREE from the Googl Play Store or Apple App Store. Before you can use the app to purchase tickets, you must register your phone number in a one-time setup. All tickets are delivered to your phone as "Not Yet Activated." You can purchase tickets up to 60 days in advance of using them. You must activate your ticket before boarding and show the ticket on your smartphone to the bus driver or fare enforcement officer when required.
NOTE: It's important to be aware that there will be stairs to navigate to the 2nd floor residence. Once you have ascended to the top of the stairs after entering the front door at ground level, the entire floor plan is all on one level. The building was built in 1925 as a duplex with one unit up and one unit down (separate front/back doors to each unit with no shared space). This is what makes it such a special and charming place; nevertheless, there's original hardwood floors in this upstairs residence that can have an impact on the downstairs guests. The downstairs residence is also listed on this booking site if you would like to take a peek at that one too!
Trash bins: There are two gray trash bins on side of house for regular trash. And there are two blue recycle bins also on side of house.
