The Rambler Inn was awesome! Great location- new building so everything was in new condition. I loved the balcony that overlooked Front street- good people watching and we could hear a live band from one of the bars Thursday night. The host was super responsive- the fire alarm did go off one morning requiring us to exit the building but was quickly remedied. I would definitely visit again! I love seeing a place like this in Arlington!
Great food options, hamburgers, bakery, pizza, ice cream, drinks. Beds were comfortable and king size, in both rooms. Internet was fine, some buffering in bedroom. Didn't get to use the living room TV as it was broken all week. Easy parking, self transportation, and Uber rides were easy as well. Showers where good as well. Very nice stay, will stay here again in the future. Thanks
All of the pillows and covers were dirty with stains on all of them in the bedroom and extra blankets in cabinets were also dirty. The refrigerator was dirty with black stuff in the top and bottom. The let out couch bed had crumbs of food all over it. Nets flying in bathroom and bedroom. Looks exactly like pictures but was not clean up close and personal. Seems they reused everything from the previous visitors and nothing was washed. I went back 2 hours after my check out and it was already available for the next guests EW!
Check in was confusing due to no check-in desk. Make sure you check in before you get to the property so you have your code and everything ready. Our oven was broke. They offered to change our room, but I had already unpacked. I asked for a discount due to the inconvenience of the oven not working did not hear back from them. Our last day it was discovered that they have an ant problem as they were coming through the walls, but they’re supposedly going to exterminate. The property is nice. Everything was kept clean in orderly. Lenny linens are very comfortable.
Negatives and positives: I wish the elevator worked because it wasn’t easy carrying large suitcases up three flights. At check-in, it was difficult to find parking near our room, so we had to wheel out suitcases a bit of a distance. There was a problem with fruit flies in our room from the get-go. Our second day of our stay, we had to evacuate the building twice in one hour due to fire alarms blaring. Both were false alarms, which was frustrating. On a positive, location was stellar. Across the street were some awesome eateries. We loved drinking wine from our quiet balcony, and we loved being close to Globe Life Field for our Rangers game. This room was lovely and clean overall—minus the flies. I’d stay here again if I knew it was closer to a completely finished building.

Liked: Cleanliness
Disliked: Amenities
Multiple noise issues including train tracks right next to the Inn with trains running all hours of the night and business renovation below the room starting before 8:00 am making it impossible to sleep in after the lack of sleep overnight. It’s too bad because it is a cool neighborhood.
