Although the property is a bit “tired”, the hotel is located close to a holiday party I was attending. Not wanting to drive home to Riverside County late at night, this was one of few Dana Point options available for my last minute reservation. Although nothing to write home about, the bed was comfortable, and the full-breakfast a nice surprise!

Checked in with pets - called ahead - the room they gave us was on the third floor, far away from stairs or elevator. No real area for having pets go outside. The room smelled really bad. The cleaning service did not even make the bed. Elevator was extremely slow. Parking spaces very small and uncomfortable to navigate.

Good location, near the Rows. Lots of restaurants! Friendly staff. The room is old. You can hear the walking sound, water flowing sound above your roof. The breakfast is only editable. Nothing standing out. But hey free breakfast, free parking, what else do you need?

We stayed at the property with our small dog for a short get away Thanksgiving weekend from Friday to Sunday. We were extremely impressed by this property and its management. It is clearly a priority to keep this hotel well-maintained, which was apparent by the constant presence of service workers tending to the grounds and facility. Everything about the property was excellent, from the friendly and helpful staff, pet-friendliness, secure parking facility, and a clean suite with well-maintained amenities. What truly stood out is its convenience, as it's just across the street from a few local as well as chain restaurants. Overall, this was a five-star experience, and we will definitely choose to stay here again.

I visit Dana Point frequently & like to try different hotels in the area . This is my first time in this hotel . It was easy to find & park car . Receptionist told me I would be charged $25 for parking. I told her I am Diamond level with Best Western . She said because I booked thru 3rd party that didn’t count. So I missed out on free parking & room upgrade apparently. The room is very outdated & smells old & musty My room is facing the back of the hotel so literally no view . Wow Expedia . I expected better. Luckily I am only here for one night & never again.

We checked in and when we opened our hotel room door, there was a man and a woman in the shower. The room was double booked and they gave us this other couples room key. We then got another room. This room had terrible cigarette odor like someone smoked a pack a day in there. We went back down and got a refund and went to another hotel.
