Nice, clean, pet-friendly hotel.

This was our second recent stay here. Our room again was nice, clean, and the bed was comfortable. This hotel is very pet-friendly. We used the fitness center, laundry, and free coffee service. We just wish it went on until 10, instead of 9.

Great overnite hotel stay at a reasonable price

This is a great choice for a overnite stop on a long trip. Great value for a king size room. Clean, great shower, comfortable bed and close to the highway.

I've gone there two times in the last couple of months my first room was awesome beautiful shower beautiful bed very comfortable bed as well the pool was nice but way too hot in there need to turn down the heat a little bit the hotel is very clean the breakfast buffet was excellent it was a little pricey but they had everything it was very good my only complaint is the first room I got the first time I went was great the second room I got the second time I went was not so great the bed was old it had a dip in it you could just tell it was old and it was not comfortable at all not like the other bed the first time I went and the room was small the second room the first room was much better I was allowed happier with that one but overall it's a nice hotel it's very clean they have room service well they have a restaurant you can put in an order and pick it up because there was no one else to bring the food up to the room which was no big deal overall it was a nice day I would recommend it

The food was great and I appreciated the friendly bartender who took my to-go order. The front desk folks were very nice. My room was very clean, but it really needs updating - the furnishings, curtains, and carpeting were dark and a little gloomy. Also, the pieces attaching the shower curtain rod to the wall had come loose, meaning it was impossible to close the curtain on either side (room 385). That made the shower a pretty chilly experience. Corporate should offer support to the excellent staff in terms of decor and repairs (floor buttons in elevator are almost illegible because the paint is almost completely worn off, for example). But having said that, I can also say the bed was super comfortable and again, I found the staff very very pleasant and helpful. Plus, it's really the only affordable option in Southbury, so I hope it sticks around - I would definitely stay there again. Thanks!

My bed had a huge sag in it that made it impossible to sleep on that one side. None of the outlets worked. I had to charge my phone in the bathroom. The lamps next to the bed did not work either. I had to use the lamp across the room and get out of bed to turn it off. The air conditioning unit made a terrible racket all night long.

The lady staff member who checked us in was WONDERFUL! She went above and beyond! Male next night was not as nice or welcoming but everyone else was. Place is gorgeous, pool water is warm and heavenly. That male staff member on 2nd night made us feel like criminals for staying in water at 10:01pm! The female gave us time to dry off and sit and relax, the guy could not wait to lock the door!! Rude! Like it really mattered! Overall would stay again and again. Great location, great food nearby, great spacious basic room. Very comfortable and dogs and humans both felt very welcomed:)

While the inside was decent, clean, and comfortable (including the bed), the outside is rundown and has signs everywhere to lock doors/remove valuables. Worst part was no breakfast included (on Mon and Tues, despite listed on the website without qualifications) and hot tub was closed. Manager did nothing to appease.

Really poor maintained property. Leaks in ceiling, moldy looking area in ceiling, switch plates and bathroom, all corroded, unfriendly staff. Just all around poor, especially condition of props. There are a lot better choices in that area to stay. Never again.

This is a beautiful hotel nestled in the middle of forested hills of the interstate. The lobby is grand, and the rooms are large and comfortable. The 50" flat-screen tv is nice with lots of channels. The beds are very comfortable and the linens clean and bright white.the bathrooms are updated and bright, and the shower performed like a champ. I enjoyed the large swimming pool, especially at 6:00 am. A great syay, staff are friendly and helpful
