The room did have a odor to it like it was damp. At the property restaurant waitress was rude and seemed bothered if you asked for anything like condiments or more water. Was disappointed with the dining experience. However, I loved the Village and would visit again as it was very well maintained and historical.

This was one of the most relaxing weekend trips that we’ve had in a long time. The food on property was great. The gift shops had wonderful items and the people were so pleasant. It was a truly relaxing experience.

We get there at 330-345pm room wasnt ready, room was clean property nice. Prices in gift shops were outrageous. Outdide bartender was great makes a nice Old Fashioned. Probably will not go back tho. We were tired and wanted to check in and rest.

This property is historic, and I understand that they can't change things because it takes away from the historic look, but the sidewalks are unsafe to walk on and limited between buildings. Where we stayed was old concrete steps in poor shape to get into the building. It was hard for us to lug our luggage up the steps. I wish I had known we wouldn't be on a ground floor, as I would have requested to be moved to a ground floor room or at least had someone young carry our suitcase up the stairs! The room was clean and had everything we needed in it. Small TV, but I don't care about watching TV. A/C was good. They keep all the buildings at around 66, so come with a sweater when you go inside any of the buildings. They had lovely merchandise in the gift shops. The staff was very friendly! Our food was good at the Trustees' Table. The tour guide was very knowledgeable about the site, and I learned a lot about the Shakers that I didn't know. They were very innovative and forward thinkers.
