Daufuskie is a BRIDGELESS island, and that is part of what makes it so special. Guests arrive by ferry or water taxi and explore the island by electric golf cart, which is the main way to get around. Ferry travel and golf cart rentals are arranged separately by guests, but we are happy to provide helpful contacts to make planning simple.

Daufuskie Paradise was created for guests who want comfort, privacy, and a true island experience. The heart of the home is the oversized 470 sq.ft. screened porch, one of the largest and most memorable outdoor living spaces in the area. Facing the ocean, it feels like a second living room, with a large dining table, a comfortable gathering space, and an 85 inch TV for movie nights with the sound of waves in the background. It is the perfect place for morning coffee, family dinners, quiet reading, rainy day lounging, and evenings together after the beach.

Inside, the home offers three private bedroom suites, each with its own ensuite bathroom. The Sunrise Suite features a king bed, twin daybed, walk in closet, and ocean views. The Serenity Suite offers a king bed, ensuite bathroom, and walk in closet. The Paradise Suite includes two queen beds and a private full bathroom, making the home comfortable for families or groups traveling together.

Guests can enjoy a welcoming living room, a fully equipped kitchen, and thoughtful comforts throughout the home.

NOTE: Daufuskie Island is a BRIDGELESS island, and guests arrive by ferry or water taxi. For overnight stays in Melrose, guests will need an electric golf cart to get around the island. After booking, we text the list of companies with the links with ferry options, transportation to and from the house options, and golf cart rental options.

We welcome up to two well behaved dogs at Daufuskie Paradise. The pet fee is $150 per dog, per stay. Service animals are not considered pets and stay free. For everyone’s comfort and safety, all animals must remain under the guest’s control at all times. Service animals may not be left alone at the property without prior approval and must remain with the guest during the stay.

This cottage offers its guests laundry facilities. The front desk is open around the clock.
