Old building, lobby smelled like chlorine from the pool, no cookies offered, second day bed was not made, no creamer, sugar, shower floor looked dirty. Parking was full, had to park across the street and pay for parking. We couldn’t find any kitchens opened after 10pm, only bars in that area.

The only thing I liked about my stay was the Lobby. My very first time ever staying at the DoubleTree. My Anniversary Weekend, and I didn’t enjoy myself. I even checked out a day early because I just couldn’t believe how bad my stay was. When me and my husband got settled we noticed that the room was warm. Maintenance came up right away, they couldn't get the air conditioner to come on so they gave us another room. I stayed in the room a good two hours because I had to go to work that evening ( 3rd shift 10:30-7:00 am) give or take I laid down at 8 am. Woke up at 10:30 am in sweat. The room was 71 degrees, I was just done because now my hair has sweat out and now my hair is ruin for my dinner that evening. So I got a good 2.5 hours of sleep. And the bed was hard, maybe I’m just use to how comfortable my bed is and my house stay at a good 68 degrees. As much money as I spent to try and get out and enjoy our Anniversary weekend. I could’ve just stay home in an air conditioned home with a soft bed. And at 11 am I just packed my things and checked out. The manager couldn’t even come out their office to talk to me and my husband about how bad our stay was. And going to send the associate out to tell us we won’t be charged for our second day. Um … I better not I’m not even going to be here. No apology. I should’ve read the reviews. Plenty of complaints about the air conditioning. I was so miserable and tired with only 2.5 hours of sleep.i won’t come here again

Weve used this hotel many times. This past stay we noticed that the room was very dark. The only light provided was in between the beds and a desk light.

Reservation? We aren't familiar with that word.

The location was excellent. Very close to our event, and plenty of food, bar choices nearby. The staff was also polite and very pleasant from front desk to bartender. Here, however were my issues. 1. When you make a reservation (2-months in advance) for a King room, you EXPECT a King Room will be there. LEARNING THEY WERE "OUT OF THEM" BECAUSE THEY GIVE THEM AWAY AS PEOPLE SHOW UP, TELLS ME (you clearly overbooked the amt. of King rooms you had.) As Seinfeld once said, "You TAKE the reservation. What you don't seem able to do is "HOLD" the reservation. That was a BIG miss. Of course, there was no talk of refund or price break. Just an "I'm sorry, we are full up tonight and a double room is all we have left." YES, THAT IS WHY I MADE A RESERVATION TWO MONTHS AGO! A couple minor issues were, no parking available in their lot. no tv remote in the room. Had to call to get one. Look, the place got slammed because Bob Dylan was in one venue and Carlos Santana was at another on the same Tuesday night. I get it. THAT doesn't usually happen, but I reserved a room. I would like to think reservation means what we have always understood it means.

The staff were great, the hotel was clean but the only complaint i have is that for a breakfast that is $15/adult it would of been nice if the food was hot. The spoons were hotter than the food. By the time i made a plate got to the table everything was almost ice cold. The coffee was stale and not hot either. On the bright sode the bar food at night was pretty good and reasonably priced.

The only positive was because the front desk staff seemed friendly and it was better than the dump we left. We needed a room right then. Got there late since he went to the first dump and had to rush. Got to our room. As soon as we walked in, we both looked at each other, scrunched our noses, and said WTH is that? Smelled like sewer gas. We were in a rush to get to an event, so we had to go. We thought we would deal with it later. We got back at 2am, exhausted, walked into our room, and Bam! hit with the stink again. My husband asked if I wanted to change rooms. I was so exhausted, I said no, it is just for the night. I sprayed some poopourri near the area to try and help. Woke up 3 times during the night to the stink. Next morning, we probably got used to the smell. Walked into the hallway and back in, it still smelled. Got in the shower and looked down to see hair in the shower that didn't belong to us. Gross. Went down to tell the front desk about the stench before we left. They wrote it down. Will it change? I won't be back to find out.

It was good for the most part and the skywalk was perfect to get to and from the Adler Auditorium but the bed was rock hard, the pillows were flat and the noise was insane at night! Not only can you hear next door and people in the hallway but there were kids and families yelling and running around downstairs until 1-2 in th Ed morning!
