Interaction with guests:
While we do live on the property, you will not meet us unless you request it. We are busy working in the yard or in our woodshop. We respect your privacy. Feel free to contact us if you need anything during your stay.
The neighborhood:
We live right across from one of Oregon's finest winery, Stoller Vineyards. Also 3 doors down from a new distillery, Branchpoint, if whiskey is your thing!. There are over 20 wineries within 2 miles of our guesthouse, and 7 miles to McMinville where you will find boutique shops, tasting rooms, and many dining options including a few breweries. Dundee is a short 5 miles North, also full of dining options and many more tasting rooms and a brewery as well. Portland is only 35 miles away! If a cozy quiet country stay is on your list, this is the perfect place for you. Foggy Fall mornings in the vineyards, with sunny afternoons and amazing summer sunsets!
Other things to note:
During hazelnut harvest, around early October, please leave windows closed during the day, as harvest can happen at any moment and is very dusty :)
