My daytona hotel spot

This was my second time staying here. The staff and security is always so nice and accommodating. It is a nice location with many walkable things around. It's right on the beach so we enjoy that. My daughter enjoys the heated pool and hot tub. We had a volleyball tournament at the ocean center, it is a walkable distance for us so it saves us parking fees.

Stay somewhere else

We checked into our suite in the evening only to find that someone was hanging out in our room. The room was cleaned and beds were made but after the fact, it was obvious someone had been in there cuz they had towels out and used sitting on the chair and someone’s welcome bag had been gone thru and left on the table: there was also someone’s food in the fridge. The front office ladies were very pleasant and easy to work with and so kind. They set us up in a new room and walked us to our new room and all. However, as soon as we went to use the restroom in the new room, someone had urine and toilet paper in there and hadn’t flushed and clearly someone had been hanging out in there as well: we didn’t bother telling the front desk cuz honestly it sounds crazy and somehow I’m the one who felt bad about it as if I would be a bother but my goodness, if I’m a betting person there is likely a worker there hanging out in peoples rooms after they’re allegedly getting cleaned. The pool says heated but was cold. Parking is interesting and they do offer valet but just know your car will be moved around a lot from valet (they will need to do this and there isn’t a work around but if you’re concerned about that then just park on your own). The place is out dated but you can tell they’re trying to maintain but most of Daytona is that way.

Older property with some updates done. I appreciate the tile floor over carpet. Decently clean inside but out side was older and felt a bit sketchy. Parking is difficult with limited spaces and garage is tiny. Very loud at night. Could hear all of the traffic and people outside. Staff was friendly.

Very Disturbing!

In the very early morning hours of November 30th, an attempt was made by someone to enter our room. Had the door stop not been used, they would've gained entrance. The lower lock on the door was also engaged. Initially, I thought perhaps someone mistakenly went to the room and their card happened to work. However, the card doesn't unlock the lower lock. From outside, I tried the swipe card myself and could not open the door with the lower lock in place. That means the only way someone could enter was by having a physical metal master key. It doesn't take much to figure out that it had to be an employee. This event was and remains incredibly disturbing. I hate to think what might have happened if the person made it inside.

They room was not bad but the it was very noisy. You heard everything in the room. A child crying in the room several doors down(not the childs fault) and any time came back to their room talking. The shower didnt drain(we did not tell the front desk) but the worse part was we did not expect room service and who ever came in the room used the toliet and did not flush. We know this for a fact. The parking was not that terrible and they had security there all night so that was not a problem. The hotel was close to where we wanted to go so that was nice.
