It is right on the beach. The way the rooms are set up your have a view of the breach right outside your room Very spacious, lots of space in the room. Walkable to several restaurants, business as well. Would stay here again

It's hard to know by simply looking on a website if a hotel is good for your family. This trip, I was traveling solo, so a perfect view ON the beach was what I was after. Coral Sands is located on Ormond Beach, and as I pulled in I was immediately nostalgic! The lobby is clean and up to date but gives a vibe of an earlier time. (Don't lose that room key, actually a key 😍, there is fee to replace it). My room was spotless by Rebecca. There is a mini fridge, full sized sink, microwave and coffee maker (also full size). I could find this info anywhere, so I'm posting it here. This is an older hotel for sure, but you can tell they work very hard at upkeep. The beds were comfortable and pillows, too. I should have called down for an extra blanket, but I just turned up the heat a bit (there was a cold front here during my stay) All around are places to eat and walk to, CVS is 7 minutes away, and Walmart is 20 mins away. The sand is beautiful, and they have chairs and cabanas to rent. There are family cabins around both sides if you look at the map, you can get some cabins that are practically on the beach- the kids could run out the door and down to the beach and easily be seen from your front door. There is also a camping area with hookups and direct access to the beach. I will be bringing my family back next year during the sea turtle season and will make my reservation before leaving, as I saw others doing while checking in!
