It began when we called to see how late we could check in and the automated system transferred us to the front desk that hung up on us twice. We entered all our information and credit card on their site including a picture of my drivers license only to have them make copies. Now I’m concerned about identity theft. We got to the building and the exterior security door was open but either way the glass was blown out. Our room door was open with the dead bolt keeping it from shutting. The door lock was sketchy and lacked a chain or other locking mechanism. The room was fairly dirty and had holes in the drywall for wires and other places. Could have had camera. It was all sketchy. The curtain had a burnt hole in it. We got in late so we wanted to sleep but hammering and sawing began in the room next door at 8:30. It continued until we left at 10. I’ve stayed at some bad hotels this one was probably the worst.
Security door open, but it didn’t matter because there was no glass in it anyway
Door jam you can see that the deadbolt was commonly left out so that the door wouldn’t close like it was when we arrived.
This whole had a wire going through some dead some did not

Hotel location was so bad we only stayed one night. Fights at 2am, homeless, drug deals in the parking lot. We will not stay here again or recommend!

The staff was very kind but the very first room we went into was open upon our arrival, the sliding glass door look like someone had bent the security bar so you could not lock it and then the bar that was supposed to hold the door shut didn't have the attachment to sit on. So then we switched rooms the second room had a disgustingly filthy tub that no one could use to shower with and the bathroom door did not have a latch on it so you could not shut it for privacy and we ended up killing a roach in the morning.

Staff was friendly. Hotel was just OK. I knew what I was getting into when I booked. I needed a place within walking distance from the track. It served its purpose and I might even go back if I attend the 24 hour again. There was a consistent musty smell in the hallways. Once you got in your room the AC unit took care of it, but it is Florida and it is Daytona. So you get about what you would expect.
