The staff was great and the property seemed new. We had the room with kitchen which was nice and convenient. But the first room we got wasn't sufficient cleaned (and overlooked the parking lot even though it was considered ocean view) So they moved us to another room the next day. There's no housekeeping service which is unfortunate on vacation, and the shower was all moldy inside. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but for the price there is room for improvement.

Outstanding service from check-in to check-out! Loved the proximity to the beach and watching the unobstructed sun rise from the 12th floor. Washer and dryer in the suite was a huge plus.

It was apparently built as a condo, then converted to a resort. The rooms are very nice. The location excellent. The outdoor bar area is fine. The food service is somewhat limited but what they have is good.

Place is great! I’ve always stayed at Max’s when I go to Daytona! But they’ve change staff and this particular staff member at the front desk wasn’t too friendly the day of check in! I strongly believe that the first impression is very important for the hotel value and stay recommendations!!! I missed Mrs Wanda that used to be there before!! Very friendly and kind.. And would address your needs if any came up!

This is a great new property. Everything met our expectations, except the advertised ocean side view we paid extra for. At the very best we got partial ocean view. Given the lay out of all the rooms only the one room on each floor has a true ocean view. The restaurant is poolside/ocean so u less it’s nice out you basically have to dine in the lobby which is a let down but the outside area is very nice.
