Great Place for Beach R and R

Perry's Ocean Edge Resort is mine and my wife's favorite place to staybin Daytona Beach. The staff are always so friendly and polite and want only to make your stay as wonderful as possible. The parking can be tricky especially if your have a larger vehicle. Can be quite noisy at night with people but that is not the fault of the staff or place. All in all, it is still a great place to stay.

Great stay

Going to Perry’s is always a fun trip. Great service and comfortable rooms. If I had to pick a negative it would Kelsey who checked me in. I’ve been going to Perry‘s longer than she’s worked there, and she continued to contradict me at the front counter when I knew better about my information. She continued to try to have the last word and be correct instead of taking the time to listen to me. Other than that, the trip was awesome.

After our previous hotel was evacuated, the staff at Perry's went above and beyond to help all 12 of us get settled into new rooms. The property had so much to offer. My family really appreciated the grills and picnic tables spread throughout the grounds, and the kids had a blast choosing between the three different pools. The rooms were clean, and the staff was incredibly friendly.

im from palm coast and my daughter treated my granddaughter and i to a beachside stay after her tonsils came out a few weeks ago.the beds were comfortable and the little kitchenette was convienient! way over priced for the area.beach was nice but no different than other hotels beachside. shower was nice. both rooms on both sides were very noisy! older kids yelling and banging on walls both sides of me for most of my stay.dog howling part of the night.my granddaughter liked dounuts for breakfast.and staff sherice and emily were super nice! next time i,ll shop around for a better bargain and maybe a less busier time of year. But i had a balcony which the view was beautiful for sure!

No repeat stays here

All the pools were oily on top and sand at the bottom, including the hot top. The beach access was nice, but unlike other resorts in the area, no chairs or tents are on offer. The room itself was not overly clean and the pull out sofa was rusted and stained. Water pressure and AC were good. Our room was vlose to the elevators and they dinged all night long, like they were in the room with you.

This is an older property but has been updated. The room was very nice and spacious. Our only issue was the door lock would not work. It was a bit of a hassle getting into the room but after the 3rd day of having to be unlocked maintenance changed out the lock. They were super nice and very fast to respond every time we called. I would definitely stay here again.

The staff was curious on check in and interaction with maintenance staff throughout the 2 night stay. We stayed in the family room with the bunk beds as I have 2 kids under the age of 10. The room itself was clean on the surface, but clearly not cleaned with much care. There was a pretzel in the crack of the bunk beds, water damage to the floor by the mini fridge, trash debris behind the toilet. Our initial set of towels had stains on them. They did replace them quickly and apologized. I know this hotel isn’t a high end hotel nor came in with that expectation, but the reality is what you pay is what you get. If you’re in a 20-25 age range and are out with friends just having a good party trip then this hotel works. The option of the indoor pool is pretty cool but it’s loud and the water was cloudy and felt dirty. I would not stay here again for a family vacation.

Everything was nice. Parking is tight. Water pressure is weak, shower is hot/cold but trickles. Heard alot of kids running down the hall and knocking on doors and running off.

Good location, in desperate need of a facelift

Couldn’t get clean/dry towels if we tried. Had to track down someone and go to the front office. Each time they only sent up one or two towels for a family of 4. Phone didn’t work, couldn’t call operator. Positives: it was close to the beach and kids had fun at the pools (indoor and outdoor).

Everything was super as always. The main pool was closed several of the days we were there. This made it difficult for us as we had to go on the other side of the resort for swimming.
