What we reserved and what got were two different things. The hotel was old, dirty and not inviting at all. There were no towels in our room, no shampoo or soap. Couldn't find a trashcan. Ended up upgrading from a $90 room which we thought was oceanfront but was just aa standard room way in the front of the hotel attached to the front office. The reception was very nice but in the end we needed to upgrade to an ocean front room that cost us an extra $60 that we did not originally plan on spending but felt that we had no alternative because the room we would of had to sleep in was not acceptable. We were very upset and probably will not use Hotel.com again since they are not honest.

It's a old model hotel but I love it it's like staying at my grandmother's house but it's clean it's not dirty no bugs no hair everywhere clean sheets clean towels bed is wonderful it is really thick and fluffy and comfortable and they also have recliner chairs in the room not just the chairs that you sit in it's like a studio apartment it's legit like a studio apartment and I love the scenery I love how they set this hotel up. Also there's no smells at all I know some people may complain cuz when we was checking out there was a man that was complaining about his room so I guess it's some that's cleaning some that's may not be but the one I stayed in was clean from the door to the back of the room it was clean I inspect every room I stay in sheets and all mattress at all and it was clean very quiet no noise just the sound of the waves

Safety Hazzard

We reported there was no smoke alarm in the room and the lighting in the stairwell was out. Neither were corrected. TV cable was out. No paper towels. Had to swap out our own towels. Half the electrical plugs didn’t work. Pealing paint everywhere. The shower was molded. The toilet clogged regularly with just paper disposal

The property was situated on the beach and had convenient walkable access to a popular pier restaurant. However, during our visit, there were many smokers on the property, especially around the pool deck. Although the room I booked was smoke-free, the smell of smoke was unavoidable in common areas.
