Hurricanes have created a great amount of maintenance needs. They are working on getting the buildings painted and spruced up. Very helpful, understanding staff. Beach and sunrises are breathtaking

The pictures online were deceiving. It looks really nice but when you get there, it's pretty run down and not maintained very well. People actually live in a few of the units. Parking was usually full but they let us park on the grass area or by the sidewalk by the road. The staff was nice though.

The staff was very friendly. It was an older hotel but had everything we needed. Two lounge chairs for tv watching, a kitchen small but efficient for our needs. Only negative was a stained shower curtain in the bathrooom shower. There was a table and chairs where we could have our meals. However we ate out to celebrate my husbands 94th birthday. There were many stores and restaurants within driving area. We walked down the beach but it was cold and windy this time of year so unable to go in the water. Observed three surfers with wet suits that braved the cold. Would recommend this place for those who want a vacation that won’t break the bank, very reasonably priced.

Well let’s just say the stay was a bit disappointing! The pictures on the web site were very misleading. Room was fairly clean however, the bath mat (towel) was soiled. No washcloth in the bathroom. Every hotel we have stayed at has coffee and creamer to go with the coffee pot but not this place. The room had an ice bucket, probably the cheapest possible container, more like the bottom of a Tupperware container. Went to get ice and the ice machine was not working however there was a brand new one sitting near but had not been hooked up yet. It appeared like it was there for several days prior to our visit. The exterior of the building had paint peeling off all over the place. Staff was pleasant enough but it didn’t make up for the facility.

The price is definitely right

Only big complaint was the floors were a little gritty/sandy. But it was right on the beach, many restaurants close by, and the bed was comfortable.
