The condos were under construction. Jackhammering overhead and the pool and access to the beach was all closed due to construction. It rained and blew for a couple of days and water seeped in from the balconies and was all over the tile. Otherwise the place was clean and the beds were comfortable.

No pool, no hot tub, no 2nd balcony. Room was dirty, garbage still in trash can from last people and grey dust covering everything. Tv would not turn on. The balcony that was available did not have a lock to secure the door and the wind kept opening it. We left after the first day as it was a safety concern having a 4 year old with us that could easily get out onto to the balcony.

It was the best of the best

I have stayed here 3 times now an i wouldn't have it any other way. The owner was amazing. Our air went out the 1st night. He made it right within an hour.we had a great time and will be back.

Not what expected

The pictures were beautiful but were not what we recieved. The unit wasn't the cleanest but we tried to overlook it. We soon discovered the beds were horribly unconformable and didn't sleep. The couch was damaged and they tried to cover it with material. The extra bedroom had an ac unit that appeared to be taped in it with a sheet covering it. Their was random boxes under the beds. The ac unit had dust built up in the vents. The ac units were vented onto the balcony which made it to where you couldn't relax onto the balcony due to hot air being vented onto you. There were bars missing on the balcony fence. Overall we were not happy with our stay. We did try to address the issues but quickly discovered that even though we booked thru vrbro it was then transfered to idaytona then they transfered it to someone else. I would not recommend this property nor booking with anyone of these companies. I do have pictures but do not see a place to leave them. We also recieved an email requesting us leave reviews no less than a 5 star due to it being detrimental to them. We found that interesting.

The Condo itself (room) was exactly what I expected clean nice and great view. Plenty of room for 4 to 6 people. The fact that the listing did not show the pool was closed some where near the top was disappointing when we found it a week later after booking. Had I noticed the pool was closed I would have booked something else. While it says July-August for having it repaired condo owners told me it would be lucky to be done this year. The lobby was kept up daily that is about. We checked in on Saturday and out on Friday there were chicken bones wrapped in a napkin on the ledge outside the elevator on the 7th floor when we arrived and I would bet they are still there today. The exercise room consisted of a treadmill in poor shape. A broken weight machine and a inversion table i wouldn't trust. There was no work being done to install the needed sea wall so that the pool and other outside amenities could be repaired and used. The neighboring property to the left finished up pool repairs on Friday as we were leaving and the one to the right a smaller has had no repairs like Pirates Cove. Most other properties up and down the beach look to be back to normal after the 2022 hurricane. In closing The unit I was in was wonderful the building needs some work and care.

Best vacation

The listing was exactly as described, absolutely beautiful view of the ocean. The room was very clean, had everything we could need for the kitchen, plenty of towels, even beach items to use for the kids. Will recommend this to anyone looking for a rental. The pool unfortunately was inoperable due to hurricane damage but it was still the best stay, it allowed the kids to stay on the beach amd not want to go back and forth. Our stay was during the 4tg of july it was not a party scene which i was concerned about but it was more family oriented which i loved! Souvenir shop located across the street, and several further down the strip about a10 min drive , 20 min the other direction is the tallest lighthouse. Plenty of dining to choose from. Best destination ever !

Hats off to Sand Dollar Condo

Decorated with beach vibe and HATS everywhere. We had an enjoyable stay despite: wind, rain, construction just below and nite time sirens. We went south and west seeing sights instead. Leaving day was the prettiest: 80 degrees and clear skies without wind.

Beach condo with perfect view.

We stayed five nights and were/are completely amazed by this property. The view from either balcony is breathtaking. Easy parking and access to the pool and beach were also a plus. The location is close to shopping and groceries and restaurants.

Great beach access

This was a perfect location for our family. We were glad we chose a place we could easily access the beach at any time. The view from the balconies were fantastic. The condo itself was very comfortable and well maintained, the building as a whole not quite as well.

Great Condo

Great little condo. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony and watching the beach come alive each morning. The pool was nice and we enjoyed being near the life guard stand and public bathrooms while on the beach. The gate keys were a bit of a pain but we dealt with it. We would come back again.

Wonderful Beach Vacation

Just finished an amazing vacation with my girlfriend and kids 15, 12, 8. Everything was easy - communications, directions, access, response, etc. Cleaning crew were wonderful and the condo was spotless and quite updated (which we really appreciated - I did like the old school coffee maker :-) ). Pool was also very well maintained (gym not so much). Best part of course were the balcony views - simply cannot beat it and everything as advertised. If you want a beach view you will get it here. Can't stress this aspect enough. We found some great local places for food. There are a few great local walking distance restaurants - Crabby Joe's, Genovese, Cracked Egg - all great. Nice putt putt near. Water pressure is not great, but we didn't care too much about that. We wanted a great beach vacation in a great location with a great view and we got it! Highly recommend and plan to go back. Thanks to the owners and everyone for being such great hosts. We all loved it.

The Apartment is not as luxurious but was clean, and had everything you need to spend your vacation at the beach. The view is amazing. The shower in the jack & jill bathroom has no pressure, but I had read the reviews done before and we were aware of it.

This was an excellent location! Very roomy condo. A few things could have been updated like the coffee pot and water pressure. But it was an excellent location and very clean and plenty of space for a family of 7! Will definitely book again next year!!

Great property

While the building may look dated, the the interior of this unit was not - it was excellent. Right on the beach with a pool deck as well. The smaller building works to your advantage with three elevators so minimal wait time to get upstairs. A public restroom is right next door so you didn't need to always go back up to the room - important for families. This unit is perfect for a family of four, or two couples to share - you can each have your own balcony!
