The Space:
Welcome to Woodside Chateau! Built in 1939, this fully remodeled and tastefully decorated 1520 square foot cottage is within walking distance to the historic, vibrant, and artisan inspired downtown Deland. Woodside Chateau is centrally located in a family oriented neighborhood that is lined with shady trees draped in spanish moss.

Woodside is minutes from Blue Springs where the Manatee migrate for the winter. Although no longer endangered, these threatened mammals are setting new records in calf births each year, recently, over 600 majestic manatees were viewed in one day. In the summer, you can enjoy swimming, snorkeling, kayaking/canoeing, tubing & etc in the cool, clear natural springs. DeLand is known by sky diving enthusiasts all over the world. The home is within minutes of the municipal airport.

After a day at the local beaches (New Smyrna or Daytona Beach), you can relax on the covered patio with cocktails or grab a bite to eat at one of Deland's highly rated restaurants or breweries. The cottage is kid friendly and has a basketball hoop and basketball in the backyard. As for the grown-ups, Dolly's Olde Time Tavern is only one block away, it is a local favorite. Uma and Jimothy are the local chicken and rooster couple, you may catch a glimpse of them scampering by causing a ruckus in the neighborhood. Perhaps you find a sarcastic, inspirational, or just plain funny sign for the back patio. Feel free to add it to our collection. Not only will we reimburse you for the sign, but we will also give you a 10% discount on your next visit!!

This 3 bedroom, 2 full bath cottage has all of the comforts of home featuring a luxury jetted tub and large stand-up showers. Feel free to express your culinary expertise in the lovely and well stocked kitchen. We have also provided an assortment of serving platters and bowls for your dining needs. There is a lovely coffee bar in the dining area, and we also provide spices to enhance your homemade delights.

Please let us know if you will be bringing an infant or toddler as we have clean and disinfected baby furniture you can use.

A few reminders:
-There are smart TVs affixed with Amazon Fire Sticks. Make sure you have your passwords.
- Each bedroom is equipped with a white noise/ sleep machine to ensure a peaceful night sleep. You may need it as the neighborhood roosters are a bit loud in the morning.
- The fold out desk is to the right of the refrigerator, and the desk chair is in the Bunny Room. Feel free to prop it up wherever you see fit.
-We have supplied a cooler, a beach blanket (floral comforter), beach towels, a beach umbrella, and a dry bag in the closet of the Bunny Room.
-There are puzzles, games and a DVD player.
-There is a basketball and the croquet set in the closet of the Bunny Room.

The Neighborhood:
Peaceful neighborhood with trees draped in spanish moss lining the street. Centrally located and within walking distance to the historic downtown area. Just a stroll down the block, you will find Dolly's Tavern, a local favorite. The home next door is iconic and historic and is in the process of a major rehabilitation project.

Getting Around:
Walking distance to plenty of things to do. And if not Uber/Lyft are great options.

This home is in the historic area surrounded by both old and new homes. The home on the corner is a major renovation project. One of the locals purchased it last year and is slowly fixing it up in his off time. Come back to stay and see the progression.

This cottage offers its guests barbecue grills and laundry facilities. The front desk is open around the clock.
