Calamity Jane Cottage at First Deadwood Cottages

One of our 4 cottages. While this two-bedroom cottage is located at a Main Street address, the entrance is located facing a quiet “off Main Street” residential area. Convenient parking area next to the front door provides a private entrance and the small patio directly below the cliffs of red rocks offers the perfect location for an evening in the shade.The apartment is equipped with a full kitchen as well as washer and dryer. Guests are encouraged to use the central hot tub and the BBQ Kitchen.

Very convenient location! Walking distance from Deadwood downtown.

Guest can call the owner about 30 minutes before they want to check in . The owner will meet them there to give them the keys and get them checked in. His number is also posted inside the cottage if they have any questions.

The Calamity Jane Cottage is perfectly located next to a major resort and amenities. It’s close enough to walk down town, but still private enough to enjoy the hot tub and outdoor kitchen area.

Our property has on site free parking and the city Trolley stop is half a block away. The trolley cost is $1 per person to ride.

This property is pet friendly. Fees apply. $25.00 per pet per night. This fee is NOT included in your reservation through Airbnb. The pet fee has to be paid upon arrival.

-Pet Fees: $25.00 per pet per night. This fee must be paid at check-in.
-Pets are not allowed on beds nor furniture. Pets cannot be left alone in the cottage unless kenneled.
-Damage caused and the resulting charges, i.e. carpet stains, wall damage, furniture damage, etc. will be the responsibility of the tenant.
-$25 per extra guest. Make sure the number of guests on your reservation is correct.
-No smoking of any kind. If you smoke inside the cottage your reservation will be cancelled without refund and you will be charged up to $500 for smoke abatement.
-Only human waste and toilet paper may be flushed down the toilet. Feminine hygiene products, baby wipes or any other materials are prohibited and can cause major issues, at the guest's expense, to our plumbing.
- Furniture, fixtures and lighting may not be moved or rearranged.
- Please use electricity and water responsibly.

This apartment offers its guests barbecue grills and laundry facilities. The front desk is open around the clock.
