If you plan to arrive by train to Denali, you will need a rental car to get around the local area and to our house. "Keys to Denali" and "Alaska Auto Rental" located locally in Healy offers rental vehicles and railroad depot pick-up and drop-offs. Be sure to book in advance. The 1.8 mile road from the highway to our house is a maintained gravel road. It should not pose any problem for any vehicle.
The home is located 1.8 miles off the Parks Highway, just a 10 mile drive to the Denali Park Visitor Center and the train depot, and the main hotel/restaurant and shopping zone. A few restaurants are located within two miles, as are the trailheads for the popular Triple Lakes and Oxbow hikes (no fishing license required inside the park).
We live in a house on the property. You can reach us by text or phone. We are happy to answer questions or offer advice on the local area.
