Ok. So this is NOT a good review. We were supposed to be there from 25-30/06, we lasted 2 nights. We got robbed! Clearly and according to police this was an alleged inside job. They knew exactly where our money was and didn’t go through anything else (our money was hidden in 3 rooms). We were followed into our villa by a random - according to the camera. He hid until we were all asleep and then went to the places we had our money etc and took it. When we reported to owner they asked us to hold off reporting, they showed footage of man coming in BUT NO camera for him departing. Clearly climbed out of villa, clearly feels like a set up. We even found a hidey hole next to the pool, about 2 metres deep - appeared to be oblivious to the hole when police questioned him, perhaps the intruder hid there until everyone was asleep. How he knew where our money was in ALL 3 rooms?? Maybe because the cleaners had already cased us and knew the exact places we put it. The owner (Australian) really didn’t want us to report to Expedia or police as he said it would destroy his business as he has had other complaints and we thought about it - but no, you can’t just destroy a holiday and have no repercussions. The police told us they were all suspects and alledged it was an inside job - he refunded us for 2 nights and we high tailed it out of there. DO NOT STAY here, something is NOT right about this place or the supposed people sleeping in the front to make sure we are safe!
