We really enjoyed our stay at the Watujimbar . We received an upgrade on our room that was truly appreciated. Rooms clean and quiet. Pools clean and as pretty as photos. Breakfast had plenty of options

Rooms were comfortable and clean. Great pool area. But good luck trying to get a sun chair as they were all just reserved with towels all day and no people near by. The reserved beach area was really nice. Only had the breakfast once granted was near the end of breakfast service but was dry and overall wasn’t impressed. Staff were lovely. Good location with icon Bali just down the road and plenty of dining options near by

Great value for money, older style larger resort in a central location, not too far from the beach. Large resort style central pool, with good spacious rooms, even though some features a bit tired. Good breakfast. Simply good value for what you get compared to older resorts that are absolute beachfront. Return stay and satisfied !

Plunge pool access room

We had a plunge pool access room and it was so worth it . Loved not having to carry books , towels etc poolside as we could step straight into the plunge pool straight off our room . They are private from the public but not isolated . Breakfast was included with options for all dietary requirements

Free upgrade, crowded resort soundproofing issue

Our recent visit to Sanur Resort Watujimbar was a mix of highs and lows. The resort kindly offered us a free upgrade, which was a very welcome gesture. The premier suite was a highlight—it was wonderfully spacious and felt like a true home away from home, complete with a Nespresso machine, a separate dining area, and a large living space. However, the noise level was a significant issue throughout our stay. The jacuzzi in our premier suite had a constant, loud hum that was impossible for a light sleeper to ignore. We also stay in the plunge pool room, which was much smaller than the other rooms and situated directly across from the busy pool bar. The noise from the bar was constant, and we found that the rooms themselves didn't have much sound insulation, meaning we could hear every conversation happening in the hallway or outside. Overall, the resort felt very crowded and overwhelming with the number of guests. All staff were friendly.
