Step onto the sprawling patio deck with a cup of coffee in hand and take in breathtaking mountain views—your own slice of high-altitude paradise. After a day of hiking, exploring downtown Evergreen, or spotting wildlife, unwind in the private hot tub and soak in the serenity of nature.
⚠️ IMPORTANT: Mountain Driving, Weather & Access Information
Our cabin sits at 8,700 ft elevation. While the drive is considered manageable by most guests, arriving properly prepared is absolutely essential due to mountain conditions.
VEHICLE REQUIREMENTS:
AWD/4WD is required year-round.
Snow tires are mandatory from November through April.
Our driveway is steep, and we strongly recommend 4WD during winter months.
The first 0.25 miles down the mountain from the cabin are especially steep—please drive this stretch with extra caution.
WINTER CONDITIONS (NOV–APR):
We provide professional snow removal, but weather in the mountains is unpredictable. Snow and wind can cause snowdrifts on the driveway, deck, and hot tub area even after plowing.
We cannot guarantee the driveway will be fully cleared before arrival.
Ice can form quickly—please use caution at all times.
GUEST PREPAREDNESS:
Please bring appropriate footwear (hiking shoes or snow boots with strong traction).
We provide snow shovels for guests to manage light snowfall between plow visits.
Many guests love the true mountain experience here, but if you’re not comfortable with winter driving or variable weather, this may not be the best fit.

Other Things to Note:
If it snows during your stay guests may need to shovel the deck/pathway to clear a path. We have snow removal service after every major snow storm ends but it is possible you may need to shovel snow. Ice melt is readily available. If roads are open and you can't make it to the rental no refunds will be issued. This is a beautiful mountain home and you need to be able bodied to access when there is adverse weather.
We are a dog friendly rental. We charge a non-refundable pet fee of $75. You can select the pet option in the same area you select guest count. If you have missed it, please reach out to us to pay your pet fee. Please inquire about multiple pets, multiple month stays and if you are traveling with cats.
The Air Conditioning is a mini split system installed in the bedroom.
There is a weather monitoring camera facing the driveway only.
There are no parties or events allowed at the rental.
Maximum occupancy is 2 guests.
If house rules are broken we reserve the right to withhold your security deposit and/or cancel your reservation.
HOT TUB
Our hot tub servicer rotates the service day. It typically falls Mon-Tues, but this can vary from week to week. There is a chance the hot tub will be serviced during your stay. When the water is changed, it takes 12-24 hours for the water to reheat. If this occurs during your stay, we cannot guarantee the hot tub will reach the desired temperature at that time.
CHILD PROOFING: Guest understands that no special efforts have been made to “childproof” this house, and accept the risk or harm to any children/infants we allow on the property.
CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT
After confirming your booking, you'll receive a text to download our app, DACK. Using the app, you can request early check-ins and late check-outs for an additional fee. While we can't guarantee approval due to same-day check-ins and check-outs, we'll do our best to accommodate your requests when possible.
TRAVEL INSURANCE/CANCELLATIONS
We HIGHLY recommend buying travel insurance through your airline company, car rental company, or a travel insurance website. We cannot provide a refund for anything that falls outside of our cancellation policy and the dates that correspond with the policy. This includes date change requests as they are considered the same as cancellations (if the new requested check-in date is a later date than your original check-in date). We cannot provide a refund due to travel related issues or Covid, Please review your cancellation policy if you haven't already. This can be found under your reservation, directly through our listing, or through the website that you booked. In most cases (but not all), you have a minimum of 48 hours to cancel your reservation to receive a full refund. Many reservations may have a longer period for a full refund. Last minute bookings are typically non-refundable.
