Terrible stay

This hotel is the dirties hotel room I’ve ever stayed in. There is black mold growing in the bathtub and there’s random stains everywhere! It is absolutely filthy and disgusting and for its price it is highly questionable why they didn’t take the time to throughly deep clean thr sheets, the bathroom, and replace the curtain with a whole in it. The staff also acted like they didn’t wanna be there which makes sense with the work environment, they didn’t inform us of the breakfast time thats why we missed it and they also don’t regularly refill the water in the lobby. Just overall horrible experience. Please just spend a few extra bucks for a stay on a different hotel.

Staff didn't really give me any info at check in, but that's not a big deal for a budget stay. The room was quite dirty with smudges and stains on the walls and doors, and the mattress had just a fitted sheet, no other cover or pad as a barrier to the mattress, which was also stained and uncomfortable. The exterior is also run down and there was a lot of people loitering around the parking lot.

We have stayed at many La Quinta hotels over the years, And this by far is the worst one we’ve ever stayed at, The cleanliness especially the bathroom had an awful lot to be desired. The Faucets in the bathtub we’re broken and striped out and my wife almost got scalded by the hot water. When we brought it to the Front desk staffs attention they we’re not attentive to our concerns! We left a note for management but don’t feel confident they will receive it!

First appearance of lobby and front desk was nice. The bathroom in my room has mold on shower wall and ceiling in multiple places. I killed at least 10 earwigs in bathroom and found one on my bed. TV remote did not work properly on TV channels. Top lock on door for added security was broken and barely attached to wall and door. Reported problems to front desk but there seemed to be a lack of true concern. I took photos and plan on complaining to Wyndham Hotels and Resorts. The company needs to be aware of these horrid conditions. Especially the mold on the shower walls and ceilings. I did not dare set foot in it.

Trim, carpet, doors, ceiling, tub seal all in deteriorating condition and not kept up, poor maintenance, smelled terrible, sticky table, towel for stepping out of shower was already wet like it had been used and just folded over edge of tub instead of replaced with clean one, main door to room hit door jam every time opened or closed, carpet had dark spots and felt soiled under feet. Other than that.. Bed looked updated and new, was comfortable. Check-in was fast and efficient.

Watch out for this hotel. They will try to scam you out of a charge for smoking in the room. Me and a friend stayed at this property for an event nearby. They are claiming we smoked in their room. Neither one of us are smokers. There is no possible way there was anyone smoking in this room. The hotel is old and dingy and the rooms have a musky smell

Smells like mold and surprised there was mold on the ceiling! Sheets had terrible stains on them. I asked for replacement sheets for one bed and was told the person of the car was the only person there and there were no other sheets too bad for you! The included breakfast was the worst La Quinta Inn breakfast I've ever had there was approximately five items to choose from. Buyer beware of this hotel is terrible. I have seen several laquintigans and this is the worst.

The location is good. I brought my e-bike and was able to ride the 4 mile clear creek trail into Golden. It’s right off the freeway and close to Red Rocks. The float in the toilet tank was not working correctly so I manually had to raise it in order to fill the tank.
