We had a location mix up as there are two Renaissance Denver Hotels within 7 mins of each other. We valet parked, then registered with one hotel, only to discover we were at the other location. Once settled in our room, I called to let them know that we wanted to cancel there as we were at the other spot. I was informed that I'd have to deal with Expedia to change, which although I attempted to do so for hours on line, and by phone I never got through. Our reservation had a cancellation option. Now I have two charges, for the same night. I hope at the least there is a credit, if not a refund.

Room flooded with water once I got back to the room from my college graduation and all they offered was reward points. Not to reimburse for clothes that were wet, moving rooms. Poor customer service

Our weekend stay was just “okay”. Staff was very friendly and helpful, there were some cool renovations to the building, however there were some downsides. Our room had some damages to the shades and countertops and the balcony was dirty. You could hear the highway the whole time. The indoor pool (outdoor pool was not open yet as well) faces the highway and sidewalk, so you can see a lot of pedestrians walking by. The pool and hot tub are both visibly outdated, but gets the job done. The hotel overall has a quirky and charming vintage vibe, much like Denver, and it was decently priced for a weekend stay.

Property has paid parking in a garage or street parking off site. The paid parking i did not use because it was $32 a night, and from what ive read its not any better than street parking with safety. I parked on the street both nights and had no problems. Now you do have to walk a fair bit to the front entry (the only entry by the way), but if youre willing its just as good as the garage. There does happen to be a hotel that was turned into low income housing behind the hotel, and that does raise some alarms as well as the surrounding areas being pretty run down. Theres a neat little brewery a few blocks away from the hotel as well as a walmart and a few other stores across the highway. The room was ok. There were some minor issues with it such as the light in the bathroom flickered. The fridge didnt get very cold, and the windows didnt seal out noise very well. We chose this location due to the proximity of dicks sporting goods park as we were attending a mls game. With all that being said, i would only recommend this hotel if you are using ride share and want to stay close to commerce city.

Check-in was very easy especially at 11:30PM. Parking wasn't really an issue but there is a parking garage next to it that will charge you about $30 DAILY. We decided to park on the side of the hotel which didn't have a restriction on parking. The shower is a little weird with the design because water will escape. I recommend twisting a towel to block the water from escaping. Overall the inside is beautiful and I would stay again.
