Welcome to Lazy Rocky Retreat, a relaxed Colorado base camp just west of Denver. This is the ideal spot for travelers chasing powder, winter adventure, and easy access to the mountains. With quick highway connections nearby, getting to Ikon and Epic Pass resorts is simple, whether you are planning early mornings on the slopes or last-minute snow days. After a full day outside, the home offers a comfortable place to unwind, warm up, and recharge.
THE SPACE
Inside, the layout is designed for comfort after long days in the mountains. The open living area is perfect for relaxing with a drink, watching a movie, or planning the next powder day. Each bedroom has its own bathroom for added privacy. The fully equipped kitchen makes it easy to grab a quick breakfast before hitting the road or settle in for a cozy dinner at night. Thoughtful details throughout make this an easy place to feel at home.
-Two bedrooms upstairs: one with a king bed and one with a twin-over-full bunk bed
-Each bedroom has its own private bathroom
-A full-sized washer and dryer are located on the upper floor
-The main level features an open-concept living, kitchen, and dining area with an island, quality appliances, and a dining table for four. A convenient half bath is also located on this level
-The ground floor includes a welcoming mudroom and a two-stall garage
THE AREA
Lazy Rocky Retreat is well positioned for both winter adventures and city exploring. Quick access to major highways makes it easy to reach popular Ikon and Epic Pass ski areas in the Front Range and I-70 corridor. Red Rocks Amphitheatre is just 20 minutes away for concerts and scenic trails. The town of Golden is about 15 minutes away and offers breweries, river walks, and local charm. Downtown Denver is within half an hour for dining, nightlife, and cultural attractions. Echo Mountain is less than an hour away, making spontaneous ski and snowboard days easy.
