Nice basic hotel in Jogja

This hotel is, as their name suggests, a very basic hotel. I didn't need much. Simply a place to sleep and a private bathroom, and The Basic Yogyakarta delivered on this. The staff are very nice and welcoming. The shower can be a bit tricky as you can't determine the temperature of the water, however I was able to deal with it. The hotel is located just of Jalan Kaliurang, a busy street with various outlets nearby. You can get some street food from just outside and there's a Pizza Hut just a few mins walk away. Transport isn't too much of an issue because you can just get a Grab bike or taxi :) Overall the hotel gave me what I needed - Basic accommodation.
