Cosy Cottage in the centre of Melbourne Derbyshire

Escape to the South Derbyshire market town of Melbourne with a stay at our cosy 3 bedroom cottage. Surrounded by historic landmarks such as Melbourne Hall, Calke Abbey and Staunton Harold Reservoir.

Enjoy morning walks along scenic country trails, afternoon visits to nearby stately homes and evenings relaxing in the cottage or in one of the many local restaurants that are all within a few minutes walk.

The cottage has recently been fully refurbished and is decorated to a high standard.
The space
Rainbow Cottage is a luxury cosy cottage built in the 1800’s. It’s in a fantastic location to explore Melbourne and the surrounding areas

The front door leads into the lounge with a log burner for cosy nights, a 65” Samsung The Frame TV and dining table which can be extended to seat 4. You’ll find a special glass floor panel to give you a view of the cellar below!
Into the rear of the ground floor there is a fully fitted kitchen with induction and gas hob, oven, microwave and dishwasher. Also some great Kitchenaid appliances and Nespresso Vertu coffee station. Next on there is a utility room housing a washing machine, tumble dryer and iron all for your use while you are our guests. One door leads into a ground floor shower room and another door exits to a rear courtyard.

On the first floor you’ll find 3 bedrooms and a bathroom with bath and walk in shower.
Bed 1 has a comfy Superking size bed and full sized bath for cozy nights in with a 50” Samsung The Frame TV
Bed 2 has a comfy King size bed and TV
Bed 3 is a small compact room with a comfy set of bunkbeds which are suitable for adults.

Superfast Wi-Fi is available throughout the cottage and Netflix on TV’s.
