Excellent place for a business stop over

I like staying here as you can park right outside your room. There is an excellent bar and restaurant and I enjoyed sitting outside with a drink in the evening. Rooms spacious, clean and comfortable.

wee pleasant surprise

I was pleasantly surprised to find i had a one bedroom apartment. With great facilities. Staff were ever so helpful and polite and ordered the pizza from the onsite restaurant to my wee apartment. Delicious and simple continental breakfats included.although it is beside a busy bar and restaurant after 11pm i didnt hear and thing and slept soundly with no disturbances.

Generally pleasant, but noisy at weekends and not

I stayed for two nights over a weekend and while the accommodation itself was clean, comfortable and generally pleasant, there were a few things I wish I’d known beforehand. First, the staff were excellent — extremely friendly and went out of their way to accommodate my needs, including putting me in a more suitable room, which I really appreciated. The room itself was spacious, clean, and very dog-friendly, with plenty of space for my dogs and their beds. However, the listing didn’t mention that the property is also a bar, and on both Friday and Saturday night it was extremely noisy, with a lot of drunk people just outside my room and quite a bit of broken glass on the ground, which made me nervous for the dogs. It’s not ideal if you’re looking for a quiet or family-friendly stay. The breakfast was a basic continental option — perfectly fine, but nothing special. Parking was a bit of an issue too, as the disabled bays were taken by vehicles without badges. Overall, it wasn’t a bad stay, and it could be great if you’re planning a night out and want somewhere close by to crash. But I probably wouldn’t stay again myself, and I’d suggest checking whether there’s likely to be weekend noise before booking.

Great place to stay with free parking on site near to room. Restaurant and bar very well run and good choice on menu. The only downside was the poor mattresses

Good for onward travel.

Not easy to see entrance as close to traffic lights. Food was excellent and service good. Our accommodation was very clean but a little sparse as room was large. The bed room was on a mezzanine which was good and bed very comfortable, main problem was bathroom was downstairs.

Stayed here overnight while visiting family and would definitely stay again. The staff were great especially Tara in reception. The continental breakfast is good with plenty of options which we were quite happy with especially as it’s included in the price. The outdoor seating area by the restaurant is very nice and very peaceful. You could barely hear traffic despite being so close to a busy road. The driveway is quite potholed and in need of some TLC. Our room was clean and not bad overall especially for the price although the double glazing in the window is badly blown and full of condensation so wouldn’t keep the warmth in the room during the winter Overall we were quite happy and would definitely recommend based on the location, the staff and the price.

Modern boutique style hotel with bedrooms in lodges. The room was simple but very clean and a large walk in shower. There were plenty of supplementary tea, coffee and milk too. The staff were super friendly and polite and the food was very good value and homemade too. I don't think there was WiFi in the rooms though and air conditioning would have been welcomed.

Dog friendly accommodation for 1 night whilst visiting family. Bar was lovely, didn't stay for food but menu looked very good. Easy location on the edge of the city, very easy to get to by car and then to get into city.
