Added fee at check in

Called ahead and was told we could check in at 12 or 1230 as we were in town for the volleyball expo. Called back 5mins later to confirm I understood and she confirmed and said the room is assigned under my name now. Arrive at 1230 and the desk tells me there aren’t any rooms to check in early. I informed her of my call then she back peddled and then says there is a $25 fee. We were not informed of such or else we would have went straight to the tournament.

The hotel need updates! The bathroom in my room wasn’t clean. The hallways look like they weren’t vacuumed in weeks. The pool area was covered in mold. The walls, the ceilings, the rocks above around the hot tub that barely worked and was filthy. The pool was cloudy.
