Nice enough but could be better.

Lovely property, great facilities and great pool. My fault for not checking properly/presuming but no air conditioning in Italy in August was less than ideal, especially at night time. Communication was excellent with all details provided, but the check in process of having to collect the keys from the office 4km away from the property was unexpected and inconvenient. Lots of nice restaurants in the locality but nearest shop is difficult to find if unfamiliar with the area and around 15-20 minutes walk. A car is a must, and although we weren’t planning on hiring one, once we did it made life a lot easier. Great access to the apartment from the parking garage. Well positioned for the lovely towns of Sirmione and Desenzano and once settled in and with your own transport this is a nice place to stay, but I would highly recommend the owner to have air conditioning installed.
