Quiet Destin Stay

To summarize, the home was in a perfect location for our group. It was a quick walk to the beach and restaurants. We also enjoyed the quietness of the neighborhood and being located on a cul-de-sac. The home had a nice layout, and the pool was a perfect size. The view was breathtaking every morning for sipping coffee or a bloody mary (no judgment) :) We highly recommend and will stay again at Destin 2Be Here.

The Perfect Beach Getaway!

Destin2BHere was the perfect location for our family beach trip of 2 kids and 5 adults. Everyone has their own bedroom and the property is very spacious. The private pool facing the lake is a great place to relax when you don’t want to go across the street and spend all day at the beach. We rented a golf cart which made getting around very easy for my grandmother, as well as getting beach items to the beach. The house has everything you need to make amazing memories and cook if you choose not to eat out. I will say, if you park under the tree on the right side of the house, it will cover your car in tree sap. Probably the biggest down fall of this property. If you’re looking for a great family property close to the beach, look no further this is the one!

cockroaches ruined our stay

The house was beautiful and loved the pool. one huge drawback was we had cockroaches.Called and you sent someone out. After sprayed it was a mess. we were slipping on it. The cockroaches came out after being sprayed.

Great family getaway

Absolutely wonderful

We’ve traveled all across the US and this is by far the best place we’ve stayed. All photos and descriptions are accurate. Received texts the night before garbage day. Plenty of dishes and cook wear. They made this vacation easy. 5 minute walk to beach. Will be booking again!!

Relaxing Spring Break

This was a great house for our recent trip! Great beds, nice decor, easy beach access and perfectly heated pool for the cooler temps this week. The location was excellent for cooking meals at the house (near Whole Foods) and enjoying the local seafood! Short walk to the beautiful beach that wasn’t overcrowded. While I prefer to keep interactions in a single application (VRBO,) it was a smooth technical experience. Appreciated the text reminders about garbage day, I need those at home :)

An amazing stay!

This is a beautiful home in a quiet neighborhood. Nicely decorated and comfortable beds. Easy check in/out. By far the nicest vacation rental we’ve had the pleasure of staying at. The home could use a good deep cleaning. It was not filthy, just needing a good spring cleaning. We would definitely return to this home and recommend to others.

Beautiful clean home and good location

Easy to check in. Whole house looked newly painted. Great kitchen with everything you need to cook with. Pool area was great. Nice size pool and deck. Wonderful lake view behind the house. Everything was in working condition and ready to spend the week. Easy walk to the beach through the Sea Oats motel. We rented a golf cart for grandparents and was able to park it two streets down on Tarpon. We also rented chairs and umbrellas on the Tarpon beach access. The trundle beds came in handy. Mattresses on all beds felt like home. One suggestion is more towels and wash clothes. There’s just enough so we had to run washing machine frequently during the week. Definitely recommend to stay at Destin2behere!

Beautiful home, great location, so homey and relaxing

Beautiful home. Kitchen was stocked with all you needed. There were plenty of towels and extra linen, but that was it. Most rentals I’ve stayed at had pool floats, beach items or games. I understand people can tear these things up and probably not the best idea, but for those who travel by plane it kind of sucks, because there’s nothing extra there. You have to go buy it and then throw it away. You can park two vehicles without having to move any vehicles to get in and out, any more than that and you play musical cars constantly. It says you can park four vehicles there but they would have to be teeny tiny baby vehicles. Be aware of the stairs. The stairs are painted the same color as the deck and the lighting down the stairs in the back and on the sides is not good. It’s very hard to distinguish the steps because they’re the same color as the deck. Every single one of us tripped at one point during our stay. The views are relaxing and you can have plenty of sunshine coming in. Lots of windows. 3rd story can get uncomfortably warm during the day, as There are no blinds so you are unable to cover the windows. Great layout of the home. Grill was clean. Dishwasher is absolutely terrible. Every dish that I pulled out of the kitchen cabinet was dirty. I made sure and washed everything that I pulled out to use. We would run the dishwasher and it just wouldn’t clean the dishes. I ended up not even using it anymore and just washing them by hand because it was that bad. Only a few minor things, nothing that’s a deal breaker. I would definitely stay again., very cozy and enjoyable,
