We had a great family stay here. The rooms were great. Bathroom clean. Kitchen had everything we needed. Floors were swept but not mopped. The bottom of our feet were black on the first night from walking around bare footed. The complimentary bathroom and kitchen boxes were wonderful, full of necessary items, but they forgot to put one in the first floor master bathroom. The complimentary pineapple was wonderful. The swimming pool was great after a hot day!

Make sure you only travel with 3 vehicles. Parking overflow is not big enough for the amount of people in this area. You will end up getting towed and fined if you park more than 3 vehicles on your house driveway.

Perfect house for families

We stayed at Sun-Kissed with 6 adults and 3 kids. It was the perfect size for all of us and had everything we needed. The extra beach chairs and beach toys were definitely a nice bonus. It was an easy walk to the beach and the pool was nice too.

My family and I all enjoyed our stay. It’s perfectly located between the beach and the Destin Commons. The house was clean and well equipped with everything we needed. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. However, we ran into a problem during our stay. Our air conditioner quit working and it took them 3 hours before someone could fix it. It ended up getting 80 degrees in the house. This wouldn’t have been a problem because we had plans to go out but we brought our two small dogs with us and they were miserable. I called and checked in and there were many AC outages that day apparently. Once maintenance arrived it was back up and running in no time. When we departed Monday morning the AC went back out again. Not sure what’s wrong with it. Besides that one minor inconvenience, our stay was awesome. Would stay again, as long as the AC doesn’t go out again lol

Pet Friendly Vacation

We had a great time. Listing was accurate. Definitely at least a 10 minute walk to the beach but very easy to call for the bus shuttle. Bus driver was always quick to pick us up. Be sure to tip. We enjoyed the very nice pool and hot tub. Water was a little too warm on both but it is a very hot, late July. Kitchen was stocked with plenty to make meals. We usually make a breakfast or lunch and go out for dinner. Furniture was nice and comfy. Sofa bed was not so comfortable but typical for sofa bed. Still nice to have as an option and kids don’t mind sleeping on it. Was nice to have an umbrella, a few beach chairs and a couple boogie boards available with house. Umbrella has seen better days but was nice to have and did the trick on a very hot/sunny week. We were also thankful it was a pet friendly home as we had to bring one dog with us. She did great. They do have one baby gate at the house that we used to keep dog from going up the stairs. Overall a great property and would definitely rent again. Was very easy to work with My Vacation Haven. Always very nice on phone and easily answered all questions or concerns.

End of summer fun

The home was perfect for our extended family - ranging from 8 year olds to adults. The kids loved the pool and the adults loved running to the beach. There’s plenty of shopping close by, too. The house bedrooms are pretty good with the sound proofing, which was great as this neighborhood is rental central and there were parties on both sides multiple nights and easily twice as many guests in similar sized properties outdoors at all hours. It wasn’t entirely unexpected for an end of summer beach trip and those properties are owned by others.

We enjoyed our stay at Sun kissed property! The house had plenty of room for our party of 8 and stocked nicely. The pool was beautiful and there were fireworks for the 4th! A couple downsides were; The neighborhood was very crowded (it was July 4th) The pool pictures were misleading and was not close to the house and could not view from property. There was zero yard area. Property management never responded to VRBO message after arrived.
