Palms Resort #2711 is a Junior 2BR/2BA, which is a 2 bedroom with a full-sized master plus a smaller bedroom and 2 full sized bathrooms, one with a walk-in shower. The master has a king-sized bed. The second room has a new bunk bed with full over full, a television and its own bathroom entry. There's a new pull-out sofa bed in the living room. This unit also has a washer and dryer.

The 11,000 square foot, 259,000 gallon zero entry pool is Destin’s largest lagoon pool! You'll be blown away by the 5 dancing waterfalls, walking bridges and spacious lounging area. There's a 21,000 gallon heated pool, children's splash area and whirlpool spa.

The Palms of Destin Resort features a 2,265 square foot state-of-the-art fitness center including elliptical cardio treadmills, cross trainers, bikes and summit trainers each having a personal entertainment system.

The Palms of Destin offers full size basketball courts and two lighted tennis courts, with complimentary equipment available from guest services in the resort lobby. The Palms of Destin also offers lessons and clinics taught by USPTA and USPTR tennis professionals.

Seasonal shuttle to Public Beach, Destin Commons, & Harborwalk Village. Wonderful place - only complaint is that not all the pictures listed on this stay are accurate. There is only one pool, which is nice, but thought there were more due to the pictures that are listed. Be aware of that. Otherwise, good location to beach and restaurants.

Amazing Facility!

Everything was easy from check in to check out. The room was a bit dirty but nothing that would scare me away. Majority of the silverware still had food on it, but after washing it they were like new. The pool was amazing, parking was easy, and a great location! We will definitely stay again.

Fall break get away

We love snowbirds accommodated our family perfectly. Close walking distance to the beach, restaurants and grocery store. The view off the balcony is great for morning coffee. Very good communication with the property manager. We would definitely consider staying again. I think the Palms itself could do a better job of marketing The Good Vibes bar and their drink soecials. We may have patronized them a bit more.

Nice, but not as advertised or baited.

Let me start by saying this was a charming condo and if it was advertised as it actually was, I would have given it a higher rating. This is NOT a short walk to the beach or on the beach. Which anyone looking at the photos and reading the advertisement would assume who isn't familiar with the property. The beach access by "short walk" is across not 1, not 2, not 3, not 4, not 5, but a 6 lane major Hwy. Not a safe or feasible walk with a family. A very cruel joke given the amount of money we paid to stay there on the premise of its location to the beach. When we checked in, I made a light joke, "So y'all aren't on the beach? I was then asked, "Let me guess, you booked with a 3rd party? We get that a lot." It did make me feel slightly better not to be the only one at the bottom of the pyramid scheme, but sad for all of us folks who saved and drove hours to enjoy some good ole false advertisement. If you are not opposed to this, here are my few personal pros and cons. Cons: Mold/Mildew in the washing machine from the door left wet and closed. We were not told about the unloading zone nor the carts for helping aid with getting your belongings from the car to condo. This means we lugged luggage, kids, and all that entails from a parking deck to the condo via multiple trips. We were not told about how the trash was to be disposed, but you cannot miss the dumpster they are right in front of the condos :(...It's won't let me type more, so you will just have to imagine

4 day getaway

This unit was clean and exactly what we were expecting for our quick getaway. Clean, nicely decorated, and exactly what the listing described. Plenty of shower towels. Bring your own beach towels. Close to Walmart and Target right down the road if you need to purchase anything. If planning to cook in the condo, you will need to buy seasonings. Overall very happy with our stay! Thank you!

Great Getaway

The condo was in a great location in Destin! Minutes to the public beach, great eating, etc. the resort offers a fun stay for families, beautiful pool, and plenty of on site amenities. We got in late so the check-in process was a bit confusing. The property manager communicated effectively and very thoroughly. One warning to parents with young children going to bed early, loud music booms until 10pm. Be aware of this if your kids struggle falling asleep! But overall the stay was great, condo was adorable and very comfortable!

Condo was just as pictured . Everything is updated and very clean . The property is 10/10. The kids loved the swimming pool area - very kid friendly. The bistro downstairs has really good tacos and fresh food . The gourmet coffee is a plus in the cafe ! Would definitely stay here again

Nice room

The room was very nice and clean and over looked the pool. I think the bar and restaurant are missing the boat with entertainment though. They had a DJ inside and a "band" outside. The band consisted of a guy playing beats and another guy playing a bongo. They were good if that's what you're into but gave off rave vibes. Didn't seem to attract many guest actually staying there. Other than that it was exactly what we were looking for.

Very clean, great area

The unit was as advertised, very clean and updated decor. Minor issues with beds, the King mattress seemed to be too big for the box spring and the top bunk mattress very thin and uncomfortable. Also since weather was uncooperative could have used more blankets. The restaurant downstairs was also nice. Overall we had a great time.
