The location of this unit was great, and the set up was convenient to our family, which is why we booked. However, upon arrival, there was debris on the kitchen floor, a box on the counter that looked like it was microwave parts that needed to be installed, and a bag of muffins dating 2019 with a plastic wrapper sitting on the counter. I immediately texted the host that had been texting me non stop before our trip, and no answer. (Meanwhile, they called and texted relentlessly before our trip asking about size, final balance, a picture of my ID and myself…) I called several numbers, no answer. With the main living space looking like this, we assumed the rest of the unit hadn’t been cleaned either. The sheets in the master had stains. Majorly disappointed and disgusted. We ran to Walmart for cleaning supplies. Someone finally texted me back the next morning and offered to come clean, but at this point, we had already cleaned ourselves and had our things and pet everywhere. It would not have been convenient for them to come. They offered to make it right with a partial refund. Then on our last day, we had a knock on the door at 8:45 AM from Geek Squad, interrupting our quiet, final morning before having to leave by 10. We were extremely disappointed by the way things were handled and wouldn’t rent from this host again.
