Property is under construction. Check in took a look time. I wasn’t provided with WiFi instructions, no coffee or tea in the lobby, elevator was all the way down a hallway surrounded by construction barriers and was filthy. The bed was clean and comfortable. Chair in room was dirty.

The rooms are nice and very reasonably priced. The hotel is being updated, and so there is some construction, but it did not affect my stay.

Was really disappointed to be woken up at 830am to construction in the room directly above ours. It literally sounded like they were doing demolition all around us. Was not warned about this at all. The check in was smooth and the girl was really nice and she did let us know there was construction and we could not use the pool but failed to mention that they would be hammering on the walls in the rooms around us.

I received an email from the Drury Inn stating I could get a discount of $20.00 using the promotion "Splash", I booked a room for 2 nights 1-27-25 with check out 1-29-25. When we arrived the name was Troy Inn and ICH. We went in and asked what happened to the Drury Inn and she said it was bought out. Asked if there was still a jacuzzi and she said no and there was no pool, happy hour, dinner or breakfast. Said there was a fitness center 2 1/2 miles away. We weren't going to drive to a strange place, undress in their locker room, go into the jacuzzi, then go back into the locker room to change back into our street clothes then get in a cold car, go back to the hotel where there was nothing to do. This was totally unacceptable. We gave back the room keys, said we were not staying and to cancel our reservation. I called M.C. and told them that this reservation was fraudulent and to cancel my card. They said my charges were $275.00 plus $100.00. My reservation with the Drury Inn was a total of $168.42. The $275.00 $100.00 was not what I agreed to in my email.

Nondisclosure of ongoing renovation

Extremely disappointing visit. We were supposed to stay for four nights. Upon arrival we learned that three of the four floors in the hotel were under construction (including loads of dust and jackhammering). Something that was not revealed during the reservation process. Since my wife has respiratory sensitivities, there was no way we were going to stay even one night. Fortunately, we were able to find alternate accommodations down the road, but we would not have been in that situation had the hotel just indicated that it was undergoing renovation.

They were renovating the property while we stayed there, and the noise was unbearable during the day. We ate at the Kona Grill nearby on Christmas Day and even though the wait was long, the food and service was incredible… we enjoyed our first time in Michigan!
