Check in staff was more fixated with talking on the phone rather than the customer. Breakfast was non existent.Also waited 45 minutes for a airport shuttle, luckily another driver picked me up. I am very displeased with the service provided.

The room is old and needs to be updated. No clear wifi connection. No cellular plug ins in room. The security bolt on the door was missing. The bed needs to be replaced. The heater was inadequate. The front desk staff was unfriendly.

On a busy Friday they had a single receptionist working. It took nearly an hour to check in. The room was dirty. Getting new sets of towels was a hassle. Parking lot was full and I had to use the hotel across the street. Fridge didn’t work. If you need somewhere to stay that’s close to the airport for a lay over or quick night perfect. Anything beyond that avoid. Name brand hotels being decent is a thing of the past with all the independent owners and operators.

Soooo old. Rooms have tile, not carpet so they were cold and you could hear every step of people above. Halls filthy. Tub was too gross to use. Staff were not clear about shuttle. Convenient location to airport but waited way too long for shuttle on both ends of trip. Should have called an Uber.

I guess I should have requested a room with sheets and comforters that weren’t stained. This is a motel for transients who live in the area. It made me aware that I should travel with my own sheets. As for breakfast, what breakfast?

The staff were kind, pleasant, and welcoming. The location is ideal for flying in/out of the airport. The cost per night was excellent. The cleanliness and upkeep of the lobby, elevator, and room wasn't ideal. It felt like a hotel that had been forgotten about- probably severely understaffed.

Went to shuttle pick up. There was not an QI shuttle, had to use another but I didn’t know that. Waited…called. She told me You have to call for it. (Ummmm….I am calling…). It will be there soon. 30 minutes later. Called. Are you waiting for it? Yes. It’s cold out here (snowing). It will be there. Saw a shuttle with the name, got in. It went to a parking lot. Apparently I only noted the first word which was the same. The driver got frustrated with me and yelled. I called again and discovered I got on the wrong shuttle. He yelled at me some more and said I was yelling at him. Then said he would drop me off but personally by that time I would have walked. Outside was 30 degrees and I hadn’t planned on getting stranded in Detroit and had no coat. Yelled at me the whole way there. The hotel smelled very unpleasant. There was no blanket, just a thin bedspread. The heater didn’t work very well. I had to get on a flight 4 hours later. I should have saved my money and stayed in the airport and been spared 2.5 hours of aggravation. So no breakfast because of early flight. I was glad to be home (which also took a long time on public transportation but at least it was warm).
