This 1950's duplex in the north end of Dewey Beach was 100% renovated and remodeled in the spring of 2021, and converted into a single family home, plus an addition completed in the spring of 2025. We retained as much of the historic charm as possible, but gutted the entire interior and updated every inch of the house, including the electrical and plumbing.

The house features 6 bedrooms, 5 full bathrooms (3-king bedrooms with ensuite baths), a powder room downstairs and 2 outside showers. There is an eat-in kitchen with oversized island, a dining table to seat 14 comfortably, two covered porches, firepit w/wood provided, and an in-ground pool with heat/chill options. In keeping with the historic nature of the home, it is stocked with a variety of vintage items for kids to play with, including old phones, encyclopedias, an viewmaster, and more. A short 2 block walk to the dune entrance.

This house was wonderful for our annual family vacation. Things that really stood out for us was the extra towels and paper products that were provided, and the stand alone ice machine in the kitchen. We had many little ones with us so the pool was a big plus for the days we didn't make it to the beach. Lyn was always responsive and helpful when it came to our booking and stay. The location was ideal as downtown was still in walking distance and the beach wasn't too far. Would definitely recommend this house for larger groups!

Amazing house and location. First floor bed/bath was perfect for my parents (84 and 88 yrs old). The other four adults had their own bed and bath on the second floor. We enjoyed the pool. Entire process was seamless and easy. Would definitely come back.

The Best Family Vacation

My family included 3 adult children ,1 very pregnant spouse, 18 month boy, 10 year old and 8 year old special needs boy. We all had a blast! The comfortable bedrooms, multiple bathrooms and the long dining table that also held a 1000 piece puzzle. Plenty of comfortable and attractive furniture. The kitchen was exceptional and filled with everything you would need which was good since we ate most our meals there. The pool was loved by all. Beautiful house in quiet tree lined neighborhood.Not too far from a nice, uncrowded beach. We will return if we can afford this Spectacular house.

Dewey Beach Family Vacation

Great house and location for a family vacation at the beach. 3 blocks from the beach, around the corner from a wonderful local fresh produce/sandwich shop, and a short 5 minute drive from downtown Rehoboth (boardwalk and great restaurants). House has everything you need for the week - we’ll be back!

Baby Proofing

The house was wonderful! Loved the downstairs bedroom with sliding glass doors to the outside, so I could slip out to the beach for the sunrise. The kids and adults adored the heated pool! Loved that the beach and Starboard Restaurant / Shoips were within walking distance to the beach. Everyone loved the Boardwalk, and the beach was family friendly. Our only problem was the house wasn't toddler friendly. One of the little guys took a tumble down the stairs when we arrived, and my daughter immediately went to Walmart for baby gates and child proofing items (plug protectors, cabinet locks). We had to move the furniture to block the kitchen doors to the pool also. Just thought it would be something future families with small children should be aware of so they can pack accordingly. Otherwise we enjoyed our visit very much, and the place was amazing!! Thank you.

Great Beach house with great amenities

We had a lovely stay at the house for our annual family vacation. The house had everything you could have needed and we felt right at home. We loved the location to the beach and it was only a short walk to the main strip in Dewey.

Great Weekend Stay

The first thing we noticed upon arrival was how clean the house was! It was perfect for our weekend getaway from the spacious rooms to the heated pool. Lyn was super informative and responded to all of our questions during our stay. We had such a comfortable weekend and loved the decor and location of the house. My Favorite Vacation house

I took my family and dog with us to Dewey beach. This was the best place that we have rented in a long time! The house is beautiful and bright. the curtains and blinds keep light out when needed. the house has been lovingly renovated. There were plenty of rooms. the kitchen is lovely and bright and overlooks the backyard pool. Both front and back porches are amazing for reading, having coffee and visiting. Just a quick walk to the beach, we were loving the convenience. I am a walker so I would walk to Rehoboth beach shops every morning for coffee. I highly recommend. Lyn was always just a text or phone call away and very accommodating, an excellent host. We hope to revisit next fall with the family and pups. I forgot to mention the backyard. An amazing spot with a pool, grill and two outdoor showers and plenty of seating to lunch or dine al fresco as well. It was a bit warm to take advantage of the fire pit , but there is a nice fire pit for a fun campfire in the evening. If I could give 6 stars if I would!

Excellent property for our family stay.

Exactly as advertised! We were a 3 generation family and this home suited our needs perfectly. We used the outdoor grill and ate outside a few nights in the back pool area - just a perfect setting. The kitchen is well equipped, the outdoor pool area is spacious, and the owners have very clearly and thoughtfully furnished this unit with attention to detail - nothing is overlooked. The beach is two blocks away - a short 5-7 minute walk. We rented chairs/umbrellas for the week from the staff on the beach as suggested by the owner, and it was a smart idea. The owners were available by text or phone immediately, and were incredibly kind when we had an illness during the week - even offering to go to the grocery store or drug store for us if needed! We will rent from them again, either this home or others that they own. We spent more time in Rehobeth (five minute car ride) than Dewey, but that’s because we had grandchildren with us who wanted to go to the boardwalk/Fun Land. There is a little store just a two minute walk away which has fruits/vegetables/water/milk/cider donuts/coffee/breakfast sandwiches and is open breakfast-lunch hours. Very convenient! Five stars!

Perfect House & Stay in Every Way!

We have rented many houses over the years in Rehoboth & Dewey but none as wonderful as this one! The location was ideal - a short walk to the beach and a quick trip by car or bike or a nice walk by foot into downtown Rehoboth or Dewey. Lovely, quiet neighborhood with friendly neighbors. Very clean & well-decorated home with fun touches and decor. Very comfortable bedrooms with every convenience, including charging stations on each bedside table. Lovely bathrooms with good water pressure in all showers. Great common spaces indoors and out - including the back porch overlooking the pool, which we made good use of and was heated to the perfect temperature, as well as the hanging bed on the front porch- a lovely spot to read a book. A perfectly outfitted and nice size kitchen - every appliance or utensil we needed was there and in very good shape. Great A/C - we have stayed in houses before where we could not get it cool enough, but even on the hottest days, the A/C units kept up with the heat outside and made it possible to sleep so well. We especially liked that each bedroom could control its own temperature. Lyn was incredibly easy to work with - so friendly and knowledgeable and responsive - she answered every question we had ahead of time, as well as during our stay. The guide to the house and the area she prepared was so helpful - including restaurant suggestions for dining out and take in, nearby markets, and suggested activities and shops. We will be back! Can't wait!

Great vacation!

Perfect little house for our family of 12! With 5 children, 4 under 7 yrs, having a pool was a Godsend! We spent mornings at the beach and afternoons in the pool, which kept the children very busy. The handbook asks to keep the noise down in the pool because there’s an ‘anti pool sentiment amongst the neighbors’. We seemed to be the only house with one! Truth be told, it is SUPER hard keeping the noise down with 5 crazy kids swimming, so it was a bit stressful. There were 2 outdoor showers to rinse off the beach sand before we jumped in, which were 100% necessary! The kitchen was super clean and was stocked with everything we needed! One bedroom did not have a TV, which didn’t thrill those staying there, but it wasn’t a dealbreaker: they lived! The proximity to the beach and restaurants was great with everything within walking distance. We would totally come back!
