Attempted double charge and mosquito infested

I stayed here on 02/03/2023 the pictures of the hotel itself looked great but the condition of the hotel is terrible and very deceiving. First of all, the AC unit was taped together with cellotape. There was no hot water, the room was infested with mosquitos, I slept an hour but then woke up to having been bitten all over and at 4am a very large droning noise started which when I queried it, was the water pump. Not sure why they'd want to turn that on at 4am with a full house of guests! On check out, the receptionist gave me the bill and attempted to take full payment for the room even though I had paid online. He also tried to charge me 4000BDT transfer to and from DAC airport even though they told me the cost was 1000BDT on the phone before I booked. He called his boss and said I am causing 'jamela' and refusing to pay though I explained I had already paid online and that I won't agree to pay the 4k transfer fees when they told me it's be 2k round trip. Terrible experience, don't stay here.

Very good hotel

The hotel seems to be renewed recently - bathroom and AC units for example. The lobby is quite nice and their restaurant is open 24 hours. It is located reasonably near to the airport (about 20 minutes) and they offer free shuttle. The room was clean, breakfast was good and it is close to several shops and restaurants including KFC and Pizzahut.
