This spacious detached country house with a typical Austrian interior is located at an altitude of approx. 1200 m in the small village of Diex, in southern Carinthia and close to the famous Klopeiner See. The location is perfect for nature lovers and sports enthusiasts, with small ski resorts, numerous hiking and cycling routes and many Carinthian lakes nearby! You can park directly at the house
At an altitude of 1,200 metres, on the southern slope of the Saualpe, lies the charming village of Diex. With more than 2,000 hours of sunshine a year, you can enjoy breathtaking panoramic views over the valleys of the Jaun and Lavant rivers here. Hiking enthusiasts can look forward to hundreds of kilometres of marked trails - from leisurely alpine hikes to panoramic mountain tours - through forests, flowering meadows and idyllic villages.

Less than 30 minutes away is Lake Klopein, Europe's warmest swimming lake with a picturesque lakeside promenade. The peaceful Turnersee and the lively Wörthersee with stylish terraces, water sports and charming towns such as Velden or Pörtschach are also within easy reach. In summer, the region is a paradise for cyclists and mountain bikers, with tours for all levels and the spectacular Petzen Bike Park.

In winter, ski resorts such as Petzen, Klippitztörl or Koralpe (all reachable in about 45 minutes) offer a variety of slopes. There are also groomed cross-country trails at Lake Pirkdorf - even at night!

In Diex and nearby Völkermarkt, you will find shops, restaurants and everything you need for a relaxing and carefree holiday!
