They put in me a room I didn’t reserve, with two double beds. When my key card didn’t work getting in, they put me in a room with 1 king bed, which is what I reserved. But this second room, #316, didn’t have a microwave or mini-fridge. But more frighteningly, it did Not have a smoke alarm! The bare wires were exposed where it should have gone. There was black mold in shower wall and lights above the sink barely worked. The stairs were dirty and lots of trash piled up outside the back exit door.

When I arrived with my service animal, the front desk demanded “ID” for the animal and refused check-in, even after I showed ADA guidelines. My service animal was waiting in my car and not disruptive. The hotel’s Expedia listing allows service animals, yet staff ignored federal rules. Very frustrating and inconvenient.
