Upon checking in with an already paid for reservation through hotels.com, desk clerk attempted to collect pet deposit( which would have been due) and told my wife that the card has been declined. Somehow we received the room keys and went about our business. At 1130pm the phone rang and the same story. I said I will be right down. I got dressed, went down and showed them the reservation confirmation, the posting of that charge to my CC, plus the new room charge that they had just done to my CC that supposedly has been declined. Girl at desk called manager after a slightly heated discussion and manager appeared and said “ Oh sorry, it’s just a glitch in our system and we will waive the pet deposit for your trouble “. A day later credit appears on my CC(the pet deposit that was never charged to start with) and the pending charge from them for the nights stay is still there. A day later, the pending credit disappears and the room charge is( which we have already paid for through hotels.com) had been reduced but still there and is now posted to my CC after the previously mentioned manager said nothing would end up posting and the pending charges would go away. If you like paying for something twice, I guess this place would be the option to select when making reservations

Only thing that lets this place down is the sound proofing on anything higher than the ground floor, the road noise can be annoying. Facilities, cleanliness, staff, breakfast and parking were all great.
