Visit the charming harbour of La Cotinière, watch the fishing boats and sample freshly caught fish in one of the many restaurants. Visit the imposing citadel of Château-dOléron or stroll through the colourful alleyways of the village of the same name. Nature lovers should take a trip to the Marais aux Oiseaux bird sanctuary, where you can observe the local wildlife.
