Tamarack Resort is a four-season destination 90 miles north of Boise; it's the perfect basecamp for your west central Idaho adventures, located between the recreation opportunities in Cascade and McCall or those further afield. Nestled on 3,500 acres with 2,800 feet of vertical and adjacent to Lake Cascade, it offers year-round recreation, including some of the best skiing and snowboarding in Idaho, Nordic and snowshoe trails, hiking, downhill and cross country mountain biking, zipline tours, whitewater rafting, and motorized and non-motorized water sports. Tamarack also offers a host of on-site dining and leisure activities, to include a spa, pickleball courts, and disc golf course. Be sure to check their schedule for hosted events and activities.

•You will have the entire home to yourself, with the exception of garage access (guests do NOT have access to the detached garage). There are two locked owner closets (one in the daylight basement and one in the living room).

•Please be aware you have to walk down a set of stairs (no hand rail) to access First Chair Lair. Please consider if anyone in your party has mobility concerns and be sure to look at the photos carefully. Use caution, especially in winter.

•Ski In/Ski Out Details (see labeled photos):
SKI OUT: Approximately 300m downhill push on groomed trail from back door of Last Chair Lair to Tamarack Express
SKI IN: 1. The simplest (but longer) ski in option is to return the way you skied out (it will be slightly uphill). 2. The option with the least pushing: Take the groomed cutoff on Lower Encore to the Golden Bar neighborhood. Cross the road then hit the groomed cutoff to the Tamarack Express trail. Head left for a short push to Last Chair Lair. 3. Find your own way back!

•You'll also have access to the numerous amenities offered by Tamarack Resort; gas firepit at the Lodge at Osprey Meadows, pickleball courts, disc golf, and resort cross-country hiking/biking trails. This property doesn't have access to the Lodge fitness center, pool, or hot tub, but don't worry--the mountain is your gym, Lake Cascade is the perfect place to take a dip, and you've got your own private hot tub at the house!

PARKING
•Guests do NOT have access to the detached garage
•There is 1 dedicated driveway parking space (in front of garage)--two smaller vehicles can potentially stack one behind the other. There are two public guest parking spaces on either side of the garage bay (it's possible to stack 2 cars one behind the other in each spot); they are first-come first-serve.
•Street parking is not allowed unless it's in a designated guest parking space

RECOMMENDATIONS:
*If you're flying into Boise International Airport, we recommend renting a vehicle directly from the airport.

*It's possible to get an Uber from Boise/BOI to Tamarack Resort, although it's not necessarily a reliable mode of travel; depending on your arrival time and season, you may have difficulty finding a driver who will accept your ride. Uber is not currently accepting advance reservations for trips to Tamarack Resort from Boise; on-demand rides will be your only option.

*If you're traveling in winter or you plan to enjoy the many off-roading adventures available in Valley County, we HIGHLY recommend a 4WD vehicle.
