6 Person Holiday Home in Donsö

This holiday home is located on the island of Donsö, with the gorgeous ocean as closest neighbor! Start the day with a morning swim and finish the day with a lovely evening swim. Adorable holiday house set on a hill with a high and free surrounding. The accommodation consists of two buildings; one bigger house and a smaller one. The neighboring house is situated down below, therefor your plot is private and there are no direct insight. A smaller but functional kitchen with sitting for four people. The pleasant living room contains a large sofa bed. Please note that the open fireplace is not usable, but it still gives a cozy atmosphere to the interior of the room. There are two bedrooms, both with bunk beds, and there is only a door to one of the bedrooms. Outside you have the spacious terrace with comfortable sun loungers, perfect for relaxing after swimming and exploring the area. Around the corner, there is an outdoor shower and the toilet (a composting toilet) is in an annex besides the shower. Past the outdoor shower and the toilet is the smaller house, perfect if you for example have teenagers who wants to live a bit by themselves. From the terrace outside you have a lovely view over the ocean, ideal for cozy barbeque evenings. A cliff behind the house offers a spectacular view over the archipelago and below this cliff is a dock where you can take a swim. Donsö is located in Gothenburg’s southern archipelago and to get here you need to park your car at Saltholmen and take the ferry. In the harbor you will find a grocery store where you can get supplies. On Donsö there is a bridge over to another island, Styrsö, to where you can take a walk or bicycle ride. On Styrsö you have plenty of good bathing spots, well worth a visit! Unique opportunities to visit all the other beautiful islands in the archipelago by ferry from Donsö during your stay. You can enjoy hiking on the lovely nature trails, take a swim, eat delicious seafood, visit great picnic areas and create wonderful holiday memories! If you want to experience the big city pulse with shopping and culture you only have a boat trip of about 20 minutes to Gothenburg with the well-known amusement park Liseberg, considered to be the most beautiful and best in the Nordic region.
