Dornoch has an unusual and interesting selection of gift shops, notably the Old Jail, which prides itself on stocking a wide range of products made in the Highlands. There are numerous places of interest within easy reach, including Dunrobin Castle, seat of the Dukes of Sutherland, Glenmorangie, Clynelish and Brora distilleries, and stunning beach and woodland walks all around the area. The Highlands ought to be on every holidaymaker’s wish list, so we hope Thistledown is on yours.
