Historical windmill "Sielmühle". In the district of Westerbur 2 km from the centre of Dornumersiel, on the outskirts, 23 km from the centre of Aurich, 25 km from the centre of Norden, 2.5 km from the sea, 2 km from the lake. Private: property with lawn and trees. In the house: storage room for bicycles, central heating system. Parking at the house. Shop 400 m, supermarket 2 km, bus stop "Westerbur Störtebekerstr 172" 650 m, railway station "Norden" 26 km, sandy beach 2.5 km, outdoor swimming pool 2.5 km, indoor swimming pool 7 km. Children's playground 150 m. The windmill is no longer in use, but the huge interior beams and the old millstone converted into a table bear witness to its active time and create an original living atmosphere.
4-room house 100 m2 on 4 levels. Tasteful and cosy furnishings: 1 room with 1 x 2 bunk beds. Kitchen (oven, dishwasher, 4 induction hot plates, kettle, microwave, freezer, electric coffee machine) with dining table. Exit to the terrace. Shower/WC. Upper floor: (spiral staircase) open living/sleeping room with 1 double bed (180 cm, length 200 cm), satellite TV, hi-fi system and DVD. Shower/WC. 3nd upper floor: (spiral staircase) open living room with sloping ceilings with satellite TV, hi-fi system and DVD. Top floor: (steep stair), 1 room with 2 beds. Terrace furniture, deck chairs (2), box-room. Facilities: washing machine, dryer, children's high chair, baby cot. Internet (WiFi, free). Please note: non-smokers only. Maximum 1 pet/ dog allowed. Smoke alarm. Beach chair on the terrace.

Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und haben die 1 Woche genossen. Es ist alles da was man in der Küche braucht. Super. Allerdings sollte bitte "Mühle geöffnet" schnellstens gelöscht werden. Wir hatten interessierte Personen in der Mühle, ohne das wir es wollten. Also abschließen wenn ihr drinn seit auch das Gartentor! Wenn es repariert ist.

Schön!

schöne und sehr besondere Unterkunft voller guter Energien :-) wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und wir haben nichts vermisst. Anfangs waren wir etwas überrascht, dass die Mühle in direkter Nachbarschaft zu einem Wohnhaus liegt, nach hinten raus guckt man jedoch in Garten und ins Grün und fühlt sich völlig ungestört. Besonders im Sommer muss es schön sein, den geschützten Garten und das Grillhäuschen zu nutzen. Wir fanden es erholsam und einfach schön in dieser tollen Unterkunft!

Wohnen wie in einem Museum

In einer historischen, liebevoll restaurierten und sehr geschmackvoll ausgestatteten Mühle zu wohnen, ist etwas sehr Besonderes. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Alles war vorhanden, sehr sauber und die Lage perfekt, um ganz Ostfriesland zu erkunden. Wir danken herzlich und hoffen, einmal wiederkommen zu können.
